Tioman Dive Resort, hotel in Tioman Island

Situated along the shores of Air Batang, Tioman Dive Resort offers peaceful and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access in its public areas and rooms and breakfast.

We loved our stay at the Resort. We went for just a mini vacation to relax and snorkel. The 7 minute walk down from the ferry dock is not difficult as it is similar to a sidewalk, so easy to pull a wheeled suitcase. Just walk to the end of the dock, turn left and it's on the main path. Well labelled and easy to find. The whole staff at Tioman Dive are so friendly, and when you went into your immaculate room with the air conditioning already on; it was just perfect. It's the little details that we love so much. Love the hammocks. The snorkel equipment to rent was the cheapest on the island and in the water directly in front of reception is an amazing reef. We saw a reef shark, lots of different kinds of coral and fishes. It was wonderful. The bar and surrounding restaurants had excellent food. We explored and walked down to the pizza place and it was fabulous. The staff even directed us towards another place when we inquired about kayak rentals at sunset. The wifi in the room was our only negative. The booking said there was Wi-Fi in the rooms but it's very spotty. Even our cellular service kept dropping. To have consistent connection you'd have to go down towards the lobby. Not ideal when you are responding to emails or have two teenagers in tow but we survived ;).

The nature around this village is so beautiful, i felt like in paradise. The staff is very friendly and i felt so welcome. I could ask everything and they helped me. I extended my days and at the end they even gave me a gift. Thank you so much for that! You can do some hikes and there is a beautiful spot at the river where you can swim and enjoy the beauty of the jungle. The colors are stunning!

I think the quality of the place declined recently. Washrooms are not in good conditions and there were frogs in the washroom.

Japamala Resort by Samadhi - Adults Only, hotel in Tioman Island

Located on the beautiful Tioman Island, Japamala Resort by Samadhi - Adults Only is set amidst a tropical rainforest.

Everything was amazing. It is a resort that is run with love and care. The location and the rooms are exceptionally nice and there are thoughtful details added to all aspects of the stay. The most exceptional thing is the friendliness and the kindness of all staff. It really feels like the people who work there are happy and they actually enjoy what they are doing. This leads to infectious friendliness all across the resort. There is relatively good snorkelling on the south side of the resort pier. There are several other good places for snorkelling and many good scuba diving spots nearby. I experienced underwater visibility of close to 30 meters and saw several sharks and turtles. We definitely want to go back there.

We loved this island, the rainforest is amazing with some beautiful waterfalls, cool water to swim and fabulous wildlife. The beaches are pristine, no rubbish, wide stretches of sand and crystal clear water, great snorkelling with reefs and fishes a plenty. Food and accommodation is good and reasonably priced . We walked everywhere and got a taxi to and from the port which was a truck - we stood up in the back and it was great fun. This is one of our favourite islands in the world.

We stayed in Juara beach only.

We stayed in Juara beach only. Nice and relaxing but enough options with snorkelling trips, scuba, hiking, swimming, motorcycle hire, kayaking etc so you don’t get bored. Some restaurants have very slow service and limited menu but there’s enough good ones like Rimba and Sun Cafe which are both really good.

for a food lover, you able to try the different taste and types of food in the island for example malay food and even western, , with the sea breeze and sea view, the spending might be more expensive than the off island maybe due to the tourist place, but the beach and sand are priceless, you can relax on the beach by doing nothing! Great experience

It's an undiscovered, hidden gem. The beaches are pristine, the food is great and the snorkeling experience of all the underwater ocean life we saw was unprecedented. It's got waterfalls, cheap beer, sea food, exotic species and great weather and view.

Tioman Island was absolutely charming, and we stayed at ABC Beach. My wife and I are remote workers, so we found a place with good wifi and enjoyed the beautiful weather friendly atmosphere while we worked there. We also got scuba dive certified through B&J Diving Center. That was THE BEST decision ever. The staff ant B&J's were phenomenal and welcoming, and the bar scene was so much fun at night.

Amazing location, the beach right in front of the Station has amazing live corals and sea life. The owner, Hildi, was on vacation during our stay. But despite this, she made us feel welcome, and was available every day through whatsapp for any question. The other people from the Station Team were also very nice people, and we enjoyed our stay very much!

The location is beautiful! Secluded so not very busy. Nice snorkling just around the beach - we saw baby sharks! They have a very nice pier that you can sit on and enjoy a gorgeous sunset. It was a hike on 10 min through djungel (but on a path) to get to the village where more restaurants were, no problem to walk at night as long as you had a torch. The hotel can also take you there by boat. Restaurant was ok! Have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff super friendly and helpful! AC and a nice balcony to sit on.

My family loved staying at this small, friendly, ultra-clean hotel during our family snorkeling trip after COVID lockdown measures were relaxed in Malaysia. It is at a beautiful location on the beach with very nice common areas to relax with a book or hang out on in their playroom or on a swing. The snorkeling trip, run by the X Rector Minsu staff Mr. Liang was spectacular, the best I've done in my life, and we particularly appreciated that he was great with kids.

This place is a little gem on Tioman Island: simple, but beautiful hut, the loveliest hosts, nice breakfasts, splendid views over the sea and a private beach. The owner also took us on a very nice private snorkelling trip. The place is located near Genting which has fewer dining options than Tekek, but still enough to choose from! Thanks Eno for having us, we had a lovely time here! Tatiana & Lawrence

The staff were friendly. Although it may seem like the room was very noisy near the common area. The guests were considerate they disperse at the stipulated timing. The place is cosy like home and although toilet is shared, it was clean. Hot water was really good. The room was clean and insect free. The bed was really comfy, I had the greatest sleep compared to a five star hotel.

The view is fantastic! Honestly was not expecting the hotel to be this prior to our stay. We thought it would be a normal village homestay but turned out it was beyond our expectation! The vibe is cozy, and we really love the bistro! A nice place for relax! Plus you can play the standing paddle board for free, just need to inform the person over there~

Location was amazing, Beautiful little cove, very clean, very quiet with lots of marine life just off the beach. Plenty of tours available direct from the hotel at very good value (compared to neighbouring hotels). Free snorkels were provided and flippers were only around £5 for the whole duration of the booking. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The best place to stay at Tioman island. The staff is super friendly, responsive and kind. The view from your beach chalet is incredible and the amenities are great (hot water and great ac). The wifi is great and we were even able to take a few zoom calls from here. Thank you and we will be back :)

The beach is clean and well managed. It is very suitable for people looking for peace, calm and relaxing. Comparing to Paya beach, Berjaya beach view is a lot better. The crowd is also just nice, not pack even though it is peak season which simply means Berjaya is prioritize quality over quantity.
