The restaurant was equally nice, but what I preferred, was the very spacious room, with all modern comfort.

The flat is beautiful, well equipped and nicely decorated.
The flat is beautiful, well equipped and nicely decorated. The quiet country setting is a welcome rest from the chaos of Amsterdam. There is plenty of free parking and the WiFi worked without issues.
Getting something to eat is only a 6-8 minute drive to Weesp. If you plan to go to Amsterdam drive the 5 minutes to the Park and Ride lot and board the subway for the 25 minute ride to downtown.

Verry nice place. Peaceful and nice history.
Verry nice place. Peaceful and nice history. Very close to Amsterdam. Marvelous for biking and walking. Nice restaurants, friendly people. This is typically the kind of village you drive to when you're on the highway. You see the church from the highway and you think 'lets go there instead of going to an ugly highway restaurant'.

Abcoude is a typical Nederlands town with its canals and swans. Bridges that you could take pictures on. Perfect little town that you could spend time while visiting other cities around. Amsterdam is at 15 min. away by train. Abcoude has its own train station that deserves other big cities around the Nederlands.
There is a little Italian restaurants on the canal, which was delicious. Also, you could find bars, and other commodities around the town.

Pretty small town with nice range of bars/restaurants.
Pretty small town with nice range of bars/restaurants. All the people we met were extremely friendly and helped us tourists learn how to fit in.
Trains to Amsterdam and around were clean, frequent and comfortable. Amsterdam 20 minutes away but set in pretty, grazing farmland. Lovely place and not too tourist abundant. People made the place and the place was charming.
The staff at the hotel is friendly and accommodating, and the property itself is pleasant with spacious rooms. The room amenities are generally satisfactory. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, but it does require an 800-meter walk along a designated footpath. This path, which is exclusively for cyclists and pedestrians, tends to be peaceful as it runs parallel to the train track. While the area is generally safe, it may feel a bit secluded during nighttime walks.
The highlight of my 2 night stay is the location. The area around the hotel is simply perfect. Walking distance to groceries and restaurants and food trucks. My room was comfortable and clean. They have a nice restaurant and secure parking (entire town feels secure lol). Far enough away from busy Amsterdam yet its an easy drive to all the tourist areas. The workers were friendly and i would be happy to stay here again.
It was the best accomodation that we had experienced during our ten week trip in Europe. It was great fun to live in a picturesque Dutch village with everything you could need plus easy access to Amsterdam central by train. The hosts were lovely and helpful when needed. A special place!.Handy free parking close by to enable us to explore other attractions. A designer property..
A family run boutique hotel, with great attention to the design, service and quality food. We only stayed for one night as we were passing by in the region, but we would definitely come back.
The set up is idillic, with horses and cows in the fields, with a river passing by, and guests could as well reach this property with the boat.
A really nice small hotel. Central in Abcoude. Comfortable room. Good shower. Lovely Outlook over canal/river and bridge. Terrace with seating by the water. Staff all very friendly and helpful. A really good restaurant with great choice of food. Ollies cafe is used for breakfast. A few steps away. Very good breakfast here.
The property was very tastefully decorated, clean and in an excellent location. The hotel was on the edge of a village, in a country setting, yet close to a train station. There were plenty of places to walk and be among nature, however not isolated. The staff were very friendly and were always available to help in any way.
Authentic windmill in an idyllic location. Perfect for our family holiday. The facilities were everything we required and the host was on hand straight away to sort out a minor problem that we had. The small town of Abcoude nearby was lovely and just a short drive from the motorway, to visit Amsterdam and beyond.
Great location, rural, peaceful and picturesque, yet easy to get to Amsterdam. (Metro with free parking short drive away ) Property reasonably equipped, good parking. Lovely walk / cycle from the property along canals and via a fort. Near some great non-touristy places (Muiden, Naadem)
The location in the quiet countryside was perfect. We drove to Weesp (about 6-8 minutes) for dinner and to walk around a beautiful little village. The subway stop is a 5 minute drive and has free parking. It only takes about 25 minutes to get to downtown Amsterdam.
It is a very well rounded experience. Also, being a bar/restaurant is very convenient, breakfast was delicious, with very good options to choose from. If you choose to dine there, you won't regret it. Transfer to Amsterdam is very easy and a beautiful bus ride
very clean, and good location ( if you are traveling by car, this is perfect place to stay, it is in the middle of everywhere) the hotel has parking just back in the yard. and they have a restaurant! definitely recommended!
Such a lovely rural location and yet easy to get into Amsterdam. Second time we have been -it's a great place to stay.
Owner very forgiving when we lost our key.
Great local walk / bike ride possibilities.
The room was very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for my wife and I and our two dogs… checking in and out was super easy, parking was free next to the hotel… the food looked and smelled amazing!
A quiet town close to Amsterdam and easily accessible by train. The apartment is modern and nicely decorated, has a great living space with good cooking facilities. Good size double rooms too
the room is very cozy and warm. breakfast is excellent. staffs are nice and welcoming. location is great, only 20 mins to Amsterdam city center. we feel so much like home here.
