Great location. Clean and comfortable. Polite staff. Room a bit small. Air conditioner, despite controller on wall, could not be controlled for room as was centrally controlled. First few nights were a bit cold until hotel got around to turning temperature up. Booked and paid for “breakfast included” but at breakfast had to pay extra $10NZ per person for hot food. This should be specified at booking as I have never come across a situation where breakfast has been paid for in advance and then when you arrive have to pay extra for all the options. I notice this issue is mentioned in google reviews but not on booking.com reviews

Our experience at this hotel was exceptional, thanks to the manager, Sagar. When we found ourselves locked out at 3 am due to a lost key, Sagar's quick response and polite demeanor made all the difference. He came and provided us a new key, and ensured we were taken care of. The hotel's service and staff, including Sagar, exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning. Highly recommended!
