We had a lovely few days at Divers' Paradise and would heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Bocas. The room was well appointed and clean. Location excellent (5-10m walk from the water taxi stop, 10m to the main strip, 15m walk to the airport). Great food and service at the restaurant.
Sadly didn't have time to dive, but they seemed very well managed (staff, equipment, etc) and I hope to dive with them in the future.

This place is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which we could watch for hours, you might spot dolphins! Right from the start Feder and Remo couldn’t do enough for you, extremely helpful with anything you need, days out, boat trips etc. Every single meal is amazing, it’s all fresh produce from their garden or local and you can really tell, I think they should do a recipe book because I’d buy it!
The surrounding grounds are beautiful, the trees and palms are stunning and bring in wonderful birds.
If you feel this is too quiet one day Bocas is only 30 mins by boat and any day trips are available. We’d love to come back one day, it’s a bit of paradise.
Thank you Remo, Feder, Yu and Marcus.

There is road construction EVERYWHERE.
There is road construction EVERYWHERE. We had no problem with their shared taxi, which means you will have several people squeezed in with you, going more or less in the same direction, but with the construction, many times your cab will not be able to reach your destination. This is Mexico 40 years ago.

Charming tourist town with friendly people and great choice of restaurants. There was a lot of construction and construction noise on the Main Street during our visit which prevented us from exploring the whole town.

If I was 25 and wanted to drink all day, it might be the place for a vacation. Lots of bars and clubs. I food is ok if you can get pass the barkers in the street. If you get out of city central, you can find some lovely beaches, but they are packed with people. We stayed in town for 5 days and two days on an out Island. Be prepared for many of the three- and four-star hotels have no AC. I have traveled all over the world; this would be on the bottom of my list. They haven't taken care of the environment or the waters that bring people to this location.

Be sure to wear the right shoes walking around Bocas Town, as it can get muddy and there's currently construction in town for a new sewer system. While the locals can be a bit assertive and follow you around offering you tour options (and drugs), they'll back off if you say no thanks. Do not drink the tap water and ask for filtered water stations (I also stuck with beer & wine versus mixed drinks with ice). A group from my hostel rented E-bikes which was the right choice to visit Bluff Beach, which made for a great afternoon.

Right now the streets are under construction….
Right now the streets are under construction…. And I mean ALL the streets. It’s tough on the tourism industry for that reason. There may not have been as many people visiting as there normally would be at that time of year. However, don’t let that stop you from going. It’s a fantastic place to visit. So much to se and do. Excellent restaurants.

Bocas del Toro is an overestimated island, public infrastructure is awful, with mud, and potholes everywhere, very difficult to walk and get anywhere. Prices of the hotels and restaurants are slightly exaggerated in my view.
The property is right on the bay with great views. Our rooms were really large suites. A happy surprise. Staff more than friendly and very cooperative. You get breakfast tickets for a restaurant a few meters up the road right on the water. Great breakfast. An excellent place to stay in Bocas Town. (It's also directly across the road from a water taxi/ tour operator who speaks great English and will arrange transport to anywhere on the island plus to local islands.
I checked into Hotel Bocas Town… a charming 4-story boutique hotel overlooking both the main street and the ocean. It was a warm welcome and exactly what I had been hoping for. From the moment I walked in, I was enamoured with it, and the lady who ran the hotel was nothing short of delightful.
I liked it here and I got a good vibe. My bright blue room was everything beach boutique should be. Inviting. Likeable. Cute.
I was enchanted.
It was good feels.
The breakfast menu had many great options. We had an ocean front view that was beautiful and a pool that was shared between 4 adjoined units. We were the only couple in that unit so we had the beach and the pool all to ourselves. The staff were extremely helpful in organizing water taxis to Bocas town, and arranging transport back to the airport when we came back to Panama City.
We loved everything about the stay and property - especially the location directly on the water was exceptional. You can hear the waves in your bed bringing you sweet dreams. Also the breakfast was amazing and the host is like the best host you can imagine and then even better. She helps you with anything and gives you all the information you need to have an awesome time.
Honestly this place was so cute, I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s right on the water and so gorgeous. The two kitchens makes it easy to cook at the same time as others and omg the pina coladas were the best I’ve had. No air con or hot water but I didn’t mind this so much, just worth baring in mind if you’re someone it’s an issue for xxx
The location is great, being located on the water and a short walk from restaurants in Old Bank. The room we stayed in had a good view of the bay from the balcony. Luis was a great host who gladly attended to any of our needs and helped to organize activities for our stay in Bocas del Toro and our excursion to Red Frog Beach.
Hotel is right in the middle of Bocas Town, within walking distance to a variety of activities. Front desk staff was helpful in planning excursions and providing information. Room was sufficient and was cleaned every day, which is especially useful considering the amount of sand you'll likely be bringing back from the beach.
Ania and Gabi were wonderful - super friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Gabi's breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, bread, and eggs made to order. The dock also has tropical fish swimming around and occasionally starfish and stingrays. It was a private getaway from the busy Bocas town.
This place is only a 15min boat from bocas town but feels like 100km away, truly another world.
tranquility and beautiful nature abound. The property is run very professionally and has a very warm and inviting ambiance. I definitly will visit again some time.
- Very friendly and good spirited staff!
- The room was small, but comfortable enough
- Good price / quality (for Bocas standards)
- Strong and warm shower
- Good location.
- Lovely outdoor Loggia on the first floor with great views on the water.
The location was beautiful right on the water. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts or exceptionally nice and offered free use of snorkel and fins, kayaks and paddleboards. They were also helpful with suggestions of things to do.
I loved that it was right on the water. Xavier and Virginia were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and helpful, but not intrusive. They let you do your thing. Virginia is an amazing chef. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic.
- great location
- staff on front desk friendly and very helpful
- cafe out the back did a great breakfast
- rooms were well decorated and clean
- compared to some other hotels in Bocas Town, we got amazing value
The hotel is located out of bocas town which is good. The hotel is comfortable and the host is very welcoming and provides a lot of information and tips on where to eat, visit and how to get there.
The hotel is very centrally located in Bocas town. The pool is nice for the hot days. The restaurant has great food and drinks. It is just a few minutes from the airport.
