Everything! The owner is really lovely and very accommodating. She let us checkin early and also extended the checkout time because she didn’t need to get the room ready for anyone else that day. The bedroom was exceptionally clean and the bed was really comfortable. The property is beautiful and within walking distance to the centre of Estoi.

Beautiful views and very friendly staff.
The owner himself washed down our car from the sand that was rained down on it over night

Clean, staff cordial & professional, good breakfast
Offering a rooftop terrace with views of the Ria Formosa and the city of Faro, Faro Boutique Hotel is located just a 3-minute walk from the Old Town and 1476 feet from the Faro Marina.
This is a fascinating little village. There is a shop of some kind around every corner (but it does mean you have to explore a lot to find everything!). It has a bizarre one-way system (do NOT DRIVE THE WRONG WAY TO THE HOTEL!). The sustainable produce shop just around the corner from the hotel was fascinating - and even sell products in hand-luggage sizes!

The Palace and the Roman ruins are worth a trip to this small and otherwise typical town; and Casa de Estoi is the loveliest place I stayed in over a two week trip throughout Portugal, with one exception. The host Jose is delightful!

Estoi is a lovely little town.
Estoi is a lovely little town. Please DO NOT GO TO OLHAO though - the police are corrupt and target tourists vehicles. They only clamp hire cars and leave the locals alone, they are a disgrace to the country! The town hall worker (in Olhao) stands about all day and hands ready made maps to tourist to show them where to pay the fines. I will never return to Portugal until these corrupt officials are removed!

The town of Estói is lovely with beautiful walks down the narrow lanes off the Church square. There are cafes, bars and shops. It is possible to walk into the local hills from the town where there are lovely views. There is easy road access to Faro, Olhão, Tavira and other coastal towns all with a great choice and range of restaurants, bars and beautiful buildings. The train along the coast is a great trip. There are ferries from Faro and Olhão to some lovely islands 20 to 30 minutes away. The apartment we stayed in - Estoi Terraces was excellent, spacious and comfy with a lovely outdoor area. Easy parking outside the block. The owner was really friendly and helpful and easy to contact.

Very quiet attractive village.
Very quiet attractive village. The main attractions are the poussada palace and the Roman remains. Both very impressive ànd worth a visit. The peaceful village is a welcome change from the coast. Casa de Estoi is a top class place to stay.

There are few shops and only one restaurant.
There are few shops and only one restaurant. There are just two things to see- the palace which is now a hotel and it is not open to non-guests and the Roman site which is interesting. A day visit is sufficient to see both if they are open. Walking in the area was not comfortable.
Excellent location, super friendly staff. Great ambience.
The hotel was kind enough to let us leave our bags with them after we checked out. The staff really went out of their way to help us which we appreciated.
The breakfast (served 8am-10am) is nice.
The building has so much character and it is amazing to see the furnishings still reflect this.
My partner and I most enjoyed the pool table to be honest!
For the price, Casa de Estoi cannot be beaten.
Beautiful property, with a nice infinity pool, perfect for relaxing, in the middle of nature. Employees very helpful and friendly. They have a nice "self service" fridge where you can buy wine, beer of soft drinks (and deposit the payment in a jar). Room amazing, with a very nice terrace. Hotel was fully adapted for Covid measures. Great for a long stay or overnight (for those going from Spain to Portugal or vice versa), driving by Faro.

I had a great stay at this small family run hotel that exceeded my expectations. The welcome was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, the breakfast delicious and the pool was a dream to relax at on, before and after a hot Algarve day. I would definitely recommend this small hotel and stay there again when I come back to the region.
Beautiful palace and grounds which have been converted into a hotel. Rooms are very large (even the standard) and well-appointed in a minimalist decor. The pool area is great, as was breakfast. Well worth the short walk through town to walk through the lower gardens (not accessible from the hotel directly).
it is a gorgeous property. the home is historic but the rooms are very comfortable with a modern feel. the breakfast was so delicious. We also ate dinner at the hotel and it was our best meal in Portugal. The pool was lovely and walking the grounds was so relaxing.
Beautiful tradition home in the perfect location! It is clean, private and offers great panoramic views of Estoi and surrounding area! We really enjoyed exploring the town, meeting the locals in the nearby cafes and restaurants! We cannot wait to come back here!
the property is incredible and perfect for a stay in the Algarve! the hotel is beautiful, the grounds are incredible and the food is amazing. highly recommend for a couple or a family. it is a calming place to get away.
Absolutely everything was amazing ,clean lovely place ,friendly family ,great bed and shower was wonderful better than in most of hotels ,we were very happy all what you need when you look for cheap option
we much prefer a boutique hotel rather than a big concrete block which too many chains are. this was a beautiful old house with everything we needed.
the hostess was superb and couldn’t do enough for us.
This hotel is superb!!! Both breakfast and dinner were great. Thanks for the hospitallity that we received from the team. And from Victoria, the floormanager of the restaurant. Thank you very much!!
Place super original, an old mansion turned into a hotel, catarina was a super host, the place is quiet; the common areas make you feel like home. Defintely going again on my next trip to the south.
The house is very beautiful and the staff is awesome. It is very clean and there is a beautiful pool. The flowers and garden are very nice. Estói (the village where it is located) is very charming.
One of the most beautiful hotels we ever stayed at. A finca in the middle of nowhere. Very spacious room and excellent breakfast. Thank you antonio and dila for having us.
