Good location in the town centre, walking distance to the beach and main shopping area, underground parking which was free was nice too. Large terrace with chairs and simple kitchen which was great for a snack or breakfast.

Le Palme has to be the best hotel in La Reunion. Without being pretentious, the staff are unwaveringly friendly, welcoming and professional. Everyone from maitre d’ to gardeners greets you and makes you feel genuinely welcome and valued. The food is exceptional, I recommend half-board and just stay here. I loved the pools, and jacuzzi, the hamman was my temple, and gym very good. Views of the ocean are spectacular.

Kids loved the pool; big enough, not too deep and close to rooms. Rooms were clean with pleasant deco.. looks brand new. Beautiful small garden. Quiet and calm environment. Practical kitchenette; we enjoyed cooking together with family.

The moment I passed the gate, I instantly regretted staying for only 1 night! Coming from the street you step into a hidden garden/oasis, right in the middle of town. The room with en-suite was very comfortable with window opening onto another small courtyard with many trees, real gem of inner garden. Access to a well maintained communal kitchen was the added bonus.
