Renovated, everything in the room was basically brand new. Room was quiet and has an A/C unit. I really appreciated the TV with some basic channels and a small fridge that I used to cool down my soda.

The castle is the most important building in Fricovce. You can find accomodation and excellent food there. Good place for kids (playing ground in the garden of Fricovce Castle and on the other side of the road). For sightseeing, I recommend Presov (20 km distance on the motorway), Jaskyna Zla Diera (ice cave Zla Diera), Levoca (about 30 km distance) and Natural Park Slovensky raj (75 km away, but definitely worth a visit).
