Very friendly & welcoming staff, they helped us carry our luggage to our apartment and were very friendly from the start. Offered transportation to the full moon party and to our next ferry (extra cost but worth it as there were not many options of transportation in the area) Air con worked really well, the apartment was stunning and very clean. Perfect beach location, pool and easy access to the beach. Sunset was amazing at night. Food was incredible, restaurant standard and everything was freshly made, including cocktails and drinks. A hidden gem!

It had a room available. If Rung was on reception then I could communicate with staff. Rung was friendly & eager to be of service. There was instant cofffee & free packets of snacks provided in the room. It’s almost next to Tom’s kitchen which is a very good eatery.

I really enjoyed Wat Khao Tham and Apichada view point where I can visit by walk.
There are lots of tasty local food with reasonable price. Especially I liked MAMA local restaurant.
Also, I liked carrot cake from Croissant & Ko. They have lots of cakes and pastry it was difficult to chose!!!
You can see the sunset from the beach.

This side of the island is considered the most alive as it is close to the pier and there are a lot of bars, street markets and super markets. I would recommend it as a convenient option for accomodation.

I had to go to renew my visa so needed to be close to the pier. Baan TAi is good if you want to be close to Thongsala & cheap food & things happening & Secret Garden is a lovely quiet place. However Baan Tai is very noisy and busy if you want real tranquillity go elsewhere.

Baan Tai is convenient for those who want to party and get to Haad Rin, Jungle parties and the floating pier parties easily. However, if you are looking for a bit more quiet, but still within easy reach of some dancing, I would recommend the west side of the island. Srithanu and Zen beach, especially if you are travelling on your own. Much friendlier. :)

Quite a small area but with great beaches and loads of choice for restaurants and bars. A good location for the moon parties and pre parties, and lots of places nearby to buy tickets. Many places to see further around the island but you would need to hire a moped or book a tour.

Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan.
Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan. Haad Rin might be too crazy for some given the Full Moon Party Atmosphere. Anything North of Thong Sala might be too secluded to some. Ban Tai is the perfect center
We loved our stay at Tiki Beach, highly recommend staying here. They appear to be renovating and you can see the improvements across the resort. We were here during the Full Moon so the resort was sold out. It was never loud or busy at all
We had a small issue with our room and it was resolved beyond our expectations. The staff are lovely, the bar and restaurant food was amazing. You are right on the beach or a short ride to Thong Sala or Haad Rin. If I come back to Koh Phangan I will absolutely stay here again.
Beautiful property right on the beach, not with direkt access due to not having a sandy beach stretch but very close walk to go for a swim.
Fairly clean facilities and beautiful rooms with all the amenities you could ask for.
We've changed rooms after a few nights to the jacuzzi villa option, which also was a beautiful touch for our stay and birthday celebration, for which they were so kind to make up a little cake.
Friendly and helpful staff working here.
Breakfast also was plenty with great variety.
Quiet and clean bungalows, they are cleanend every day. The Resort is directly on the beach, which is nothing special but it is nice to take a walk or watch the sunset. There is a nice pool and the water is clean. This property is good for relaxing, you can also take a massage on the beach. Luckily next door there is Tikki Beach Hotel, which has a Restaurant, a beach bar and live music at the weekend. Thank you very much for the luggage storage on new year's day as the hotel was fully booked.
As a couple, we absolutely loved our stay. The pool is gorgeous and all rooms have a pool view. At check in the staff gave us recommendations for restaurants, cafes, activities and had on-site bike rental. our room was spacious and clean, value for money. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from an amazing beach, 7/11, laundry, Makro and many many restaurants!! On checkout, taxi was arranged and we couldn’t be more grateful to the staff - don’t look anywhere else for a hotel in Thong Sala!!!!
I liked location to the beach and also resort had own pool.
Really close to the ferry even by walk not so bad. And food markets are walkable distance too! + hotel has its own restaurant with affordable prices and good food options too.
You can refill your water bottle just at the reception area which is great.
WiFi was just perfect. Really nice connection in our room/ by the pool or inside of the restaurant. Just everywhere haha. Great!
And receptionist ladies were really nice!
The place was spotless. Absolutely amazing beach at the back of the hotel. As a guest you can use a kayak or paddle board free of charge. The restaurant has great food and at very reasonable prices too. the owners and staff are absolutely fabulous. We left a wallet behind and the staff did everything to help get it to us as we left for Koh Samui. couldn’t recommend this place enough! Bonus points for the resort dog (flip-flop) who is the sweetest girl under the sun.
Such a friendly and helpful owner! We were stranded unexpectedly for 2 nights because of a large storm and the owner was very helpful, thinking with us on how to get on the next ferry & enjoy our stay in the meantime. We loved the stunning sunsets on the beach, chilling in the hammocks. The kids loved the pool, beach, food at the hotel, the kiddie ball pit/soft play area at the mall up the road and our day trip to the Zoo cafe & waterfall.
We absolutely loved our stay at Summer Resort and will definitely be back next time in Koh Phangan. On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. The service was incredible, decor and ammenities were outstanding, food and view spectacular and in the perfect location on the beachfront. They put on a great show on NYE, giving welcome drinks to all. We loved it so much we extended our stay by two nights!
We stayed at Billabong Hotel for 2 nights for Full Moon Party and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a good location - close to several restaurants, bars, 7/11 etc. The restaurant/pool area is tastefully decorated and the room was comfortable. The hotel arranged a taxi for us to Haad Rin beach for the Full Moon Party for 150 THB per person, which is good value. The German owner is a nice guy and the staff are friendly.
Really nice pool and we loved the proximity to the beach (good sunsets). Our room was really spacious and we had lots of room to spread our stuff out (important for backpackers like us). It was also very quiet, which we appreciated. We absolutely loved the halal restaurant (Farida Halal Restaurant) down the street, I highly recommend checking it out (it was only a 10min walk)
All staff are excellent, helpful and super kind. Good service ever. They make you feel like you're members of there family. This resort located in Baan Tai which is 5 km. from Haad rin ( full moon party) and near by the city. The beach is so quiet and beautiful. nice pool and clean room. Value for money. The restaurant also fantastic and friendly price❤️
Perfect stay in Koh Phangan! Couldn't recommend BeauBo's highly enough! Clean, comfortable and right by the beach! Really friendly and helpful staff!
BeauBo is the best accommodation owner we've met since travelling - made our few days in Koh Phangan enjoyable! Everything was organised for us!
Thanks BeauBo!
Great cabana right on the beach at Ban Tai. The staff is very friendly and the place is in a right location you can get anywhere on the scooter within 15 min reach. Also, the pool was a great treat! Would definitely stay here again!
Fantastic central location close to the parties offered on the island but the hotel is set back on a quiet street near the beach. The bungalow was nice and bright and we enjoyed the sun lounges and music by the pool.
I like the location, beach front is amazing with a swimming pool… most important the lovely and helpful staff like they make you feel like a family
If I ever come again to Koh Phangan I will stay here again for sure
