Lom Sak is one of the undiscovered parts of Thailand retaining the charm and character of the country. Friendly locals and lovely to soak up the atmosphere. The more visited Khao Kho is a lot more developed, mostly in a positive way but the traffic is a bit much at weekends.

The province is fine.
The province is fine. Khao koh a bit spoiled now by too many tacky resorts and fields of strawberries. It has lost its charm of former years. The city did not seem to have much to offer in way of interest.
