Overall I liked the hotel. A special advantage is two large swimming pools with thermal water (one is indoors, but I especially liked the one outside) and a very large swimming pool. Nice location on top of a hill with great views of the surrounding area. You can walk or cycle through the beautiful countryside. Very close to Hieropolis - can be reached on foot.

Great location right opposite the travertine and close to the hot air balloons take off site. Also plenty of restaurants and shops at walking distance.Hot air balloon ride was great. Our host Hakan was absolutely brilliant. Helped us with arranging activities and airport transfer and was available on WhatsApp when needed. He got us out of a very tricky situation with the rental car company when we were stranded at Denizli airport and needed taxi to Dalaman airport.

The Owner Ismail is a real gem, very down to earth and friendly, I was treated like a friend. Ismail guided my about the tour attraction, HE took me on his bike to the ATM, booked my hot air Baloon ride, helped me with luggage. and even washed my car when I told him my car rental asked me to return the car clean. He went above and beyond to help me with anything I needed. Also the breakfast prepared by his MUM was very yummy. It is a very beautiful and peaceful area.
It is a very beautiful and peaceful area. It's a good idea to include Pamukkale on your Turkey visit route. One day should be enough.
Note: entry to access the thermal pools is expensive but covers a very large area. Consider knowing if they have water so you don't make a trip in vain.

The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting.
The ruins of Hierapolis are worth visiting. The rest was a huge disappointment. We were unable to see any similarity with the tourist promotion photos. The white thermal pools with blue water can barely be seen. Cleopatra's pool is a trap for tourists. Extra payment is required.
The thermal pools are artificial, slippery and full of tourists. We have to walk barefoot on aggressive flooring.
The entrance at the bottom next to the city is a mistake. It requires you to walk up barefoot for more than 500 meters on very harsh ground for your feet.

This place is only worth visiting if you have never been there. Even so, you have to manage your expectation and forget about all the photographs about Pamukkale you saw, which is pretty much the magic of a good photographer. Most of the pool are dried and there are far too many people.
The Herapolis ruins is surprising good and well- maintained, which I would perfer to stay there longer. Our visit via the north gate is a good choice though.

I read many reviews of people complaining about lack of water or the site globally turning grey. Climate change. I was visiting mid September after months of no rain and water was enough to understand why even Cleopatra came there: Hierapolis (full) visit is amazing. I recommend people to read a bit the story of this city before visiting

You just need 1 day in Pamukkale.
You just need 1 day in Pamukkale. The best experience; wake up early and get to the South gate by 06H30, when it's not busy. Spend the first hour or so viewing the travertines and open-air ruins. There may be less water than what you see in videos. Rather than bathing the shallow, man-made travertine pools, get to the Ancient Pool by 08H00 and pay to swim there. It is an amazing experience before 08H30, when the crowds get there.
Veli was such an amazing host (He’s the new manager of the hotel)! He messaged me before my arrival and offered advice on traveling to Pamukkale, then helped me carry my bags from the bus stop. He was also lovely to chat to and made sure I had everything I needed to have a comfortable stay.
Love the fact that the thermal pools were just a minute away and that the shower water pressure and heat was amazing. Ended up staying two extra nights here. They offer laundry services too for 30 lira.
I enjoy the stay at Bellamaritimo hotel! They waited my arrival at night.
The room was clean and with everything we need. From the room you have a beautiful view of the Valley with balloons. The breakfast is the typical Turkish breakfast, good and full of things to eat!
The receptionist helped us organizing the visit at Pamukkale site that it is close to the hotel.
You can find also a bus station near by, from there you can go to denizli with public transport easily.
I stayed at a hotel in Pamukkale the year before and there was very little in town other than restaurants geared towards tourists. Mucize Termal was 5 minutes from a pedestrian shopping/food street. Great food at a reasonable price was easy to find. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and easy to work with. I also appreciated the pool for swimming and the thermal pool to soak in. I'll definitely be staying there again next year!
This was my 5th visit of Turkey and I usually visit more places and book more than one hotel during my stay and Aspawa was definitely the best place I have ever booked in Turkey. It is family owned and they are so friendly and very helpful. Best atmosphere and approach. Rooms are comfortable and clean and food is tasty and for affordable prices. New rooms are done very nicely and worth to pay bit more for them. Definitely recommend this accommodation.
My stay at Venus Suite Hotel was absolutely amazing! The hotel was a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and convenience. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated and equipped with all necessary amenities. The views of PAMUKKALE from the balcony were breathtaking. And the best part? The hotel staff, especially Yunus, were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Pamukkale / Hierapolis is a dream of a place: the ruins, the “cotton” mountain, etc. Hotel Sahin is a comfortable location to enjoy your visit. However, the hotel itself does not justify a visit. It is comfortable, practical, and well maintained, but nothing of this world. Do enjoy having dinner at the “White house” restaurant 2 blocks away. The vegetables and fruit, as in all of Turkey are incredible
The staff was extremely nice and friendly, the room was spacious and well equipped. We had a small terrace as well. The pool was clean and useful due to the extreme heat.
The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options. I recommend to have dinner at the restaurant: good food for a good value! The hotel is located close to the Pamukkale thermal baths and it is possible to reach them by walking.
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Set around a beautiful courtyard restaurant and swimming pool, it had a lovely relaxed ambience and charm. The restaurant dinner was excellent and authentic. The breakfast buffet was abundant and amongst the best we'd enjoyed whilst in Turkey. Most of all the team there were friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.
There are only 2 good things about this hotel.
The first one is the pool and the thermal water and the second one is the time at when breakfast is served (6:00), so you can be very early at Pamukkale if you wish to do so. However, taking into account the quality of the food they serve here, probably you will skip breakfast anyway, so the breakfast time is not that useful.
Though our time in Pamukkale was short, our stay at the Venus Hotel was great. I have to give a shoutout to the staff at the hotel. They went above and beyond to help my friend and I with an issue with had with our car rental by speaking to the car rental company in Turkish and advocating for us. The room was spacious. Bathroom was clean and modern
Breakfast was delicious and healthy, was the only place in Turkey where the bread was warmed for you. Weather was a bit rainy so the host served us breakfast in the room.
We arrived little early and were allowed to check in early.
The room was spacious and clean. Very kind and hospitable hosts. Gave us good advice for Pamukkale.
Aspawa is a great place to stay. The rooms and common areas are all very clean and tidy. The family running the hotel work well as a team and are very kind to their guests. They even drove us to the top entrance of Pamukkale thermal pools and Hierapolis! They were gracious and generous hosts. Excellent value. Highly recommend.
The breakfast spread was amazing and huge compared to the other hotels I stayed at in Turkey. It was easy to communicate with the staff and they understood English well. From all the hotels I stayed at even the ones in Istanbul the staff at this property are the most fluent in English.
This is my 4th trip to Turkey and I've been to many hotels before this, but I must say Whitehaven suit hotel stood out amongst the rest by far, from friendly welcoming staff that speak English, which is a bonus in turkey, to exceptional hospitality and cleanliness.
It's difficult to find nice facilities in Pamukkale. Hotel Colossae Thermal is a good solution if you're planning to stay one night. The room was clean and the staff was accommodating. The location is nothing special, a bit retrò in style.
We were greeted with a warm welcome from the hotel owner , rooms were clean and beds were comfortable . Melrose house breakfast was the best we had through out our 3 weeks holiday in Turkey , it was super . I will surely come again .
its really close to Pamukkale thermal pools, perfect choice if you’re going for no more than one night. breakfast pretty much the same of all turkey. Turkish people are always kind and willing to help you.
The bus stop is near the hotel and when you take a tour of pamukkale it's just walking distance by foot.
The staff are kind and the room is big and comfotable and you could go thourgh minenal water sho
Perfect location right in front of the thermal pools and the food was excellent…my family and I stay there 2 nights and ate onsite every day. Best Saç and Baklava I ate in my 2-week trip in Turkey.
Hotel ‘s near Pamukkale , we can walk to Pamukkale in the morning . Hotel manager ‘s kind , he suggest beautiful place to visit on the way to Antalya (Kaklık Mağarası & Salda lake) .
