Very charming little hotel. Room was spacious and clean with a kitchen. Staff, seemed like possibly the owner were very friendly. Laundry in basement was convenient. Great value for one of the lowest rates available in Aspen.

As an Aspen visitor for many years, I am disappointed with the high-value construction that has removed much of the city’s charm. The setting is as beautiful as ever with its exceptional hiking opportunities.

Great place to visit. Very walkable place.
Great place to visit. Very walkable place.
We drove from Denver to Aspen; beautiful drive but the last hour or so, should be done during daylight hours as the road gets very narrow, with very close and dangerous curves.
If possible, fly directly into Aspen.

The town is wonderful but much different than our first trip fifty years ago and all of it is not for the best either but it’s still a great town but bring you money as it’s very expensive. It’s to bad we couldn’t get access to go to Maroon Bells as that was where we went on our honeymoon and we would have liked to visit it again.

Aspen was absolutely beautiful. 100% worth going.
Aspen was absolutely beautiful. 100% worth going. Everything is very clean. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. The town provides bus service to several places for free which is great. They also provide a free taxi service that travels inside the city for free. Makes it awesome for your short trips so you aren't constantly having to deal with parking or trying to GPS everywhere with the amount of pedestrians. The gondola was an amazing adventure also. EVERYTHING in town is very pricey so be prepared for some expensive meal tickets.

I visited Aspen with my family over the Christmas holiday and the town was just magical. The friendly and helpful nature of the people in this little town made us feel at home. Ski lessons at Buttermilk was the highlight of our trip. The mountain was beautiful and our instructor was awesome. Getting around town was easy and the bus rides were surprisingly free.

We came in the fall and stayed three nights.
We came in the fall and stayed three nights. We visited Maroon Bells, Kebler Pass, took the Silver Queen Gondola to the top of the mountain for the fantastic view. We even took Dean' Ghost tour one evening. Also, we visited John Denver's Sanctuary, which is worthwhile. Wish we had one more day to shop and explore the town and beautiful architecture. We really enjoyed Aspen.
Right from the off I felt well looked after and valued as a customer. The young lady on reception could not have been friendlier, and I was allowed to check in a little early. The room had charm and was comfortable. Location is perfect - 10 minute walk from downtown Aspen in a quiet area. Grab and go breakfast was varied and enjoyable - they even had fresh made lemonade at reception in the afternoon. Recommended!
These spacious condos are a very good value for Aspen and won’t break the bank. They have all the amenities you could need including a lovely outdoor pool and two hot tubs which our kids loved. We parked our car in the garage for the long weekend and just walked everywhere. The hotel is also very conveniently located across the street from City Market. No complaints especially for the price!
The hotel was just a couple of minutes walk to the charming village of Aspen at the base of the ski slopes. Though we didn't use the room's full facilities, it offered a very well-equipped kitchenette. Though outdated, the room's style was very 70's ski-rustic, with vintage ski equipment decor. All in all, it was an amazing price for such an expensive resort town. We'd definitely stay again.
Super nice staff! Got help with our planning, enjoyed the social hour with a free glass of wine and loved the pool to relax.
Rooms are simple but clean. Bathrooms and toilets were clean as well. We could use the kitchen to make ourselves dinner and wash our clothes.
Just a 5 minute walk to the downtown area and restaurants. Very good value, would stay here again!
Great location with easy access to all of downtown Aspen and the bus system. Front desk was very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport for all of our guests. The unit was up to date and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The property also had great amenities such as a pool, sauna, and gym. Would absolutely stay here again!
Excellent location! Our room was nicely updated (including the bathroom). The rooftop hot tub was a nice place to relax after a hike. Front desk staff was kind and helpful. Great views from the room. Despite being downtown, it was very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay.
The Aspen Square Condominium was a great choice for everything: it was great to habve an apartment with kitchen, so we took breakfast at home, the location was amazing, a walking distance of everything, and I loved the bed that was very soft and gabe us good dreams!
We liked that the hotel provided us with shuttle to and from Highlands, which is much better skiing are than at Aspen Ajack. Restaurant in the hotel is top quality and chef is providing very diverse and excellent cousin - we really enjoyed dinners at the place.
Excellent Location! Close to Hotel Jerome, the ski shuttles, City Market...beautiful view of historic church w/stained glass against mountain backdrop. A REAL wood burning fireplace! Clean, comfortable, well equipped...we enjoyed our stay and will be back!
We are returning to the Limelight for about the 19th time .
Breakfast always great and the new improved decor in the rooms
has really upgraded the hotel and made the stay more enjoyable.
Staff excellent especially at breakfast time.
Considering that this is one of the cheapest places to stay in downtown Aspen, I think everything is perfectly acceptable and I could get past the outdated feel. I felt like it was clean and the location is great.
Beautiful location and hotel. We enjoyed the sauna in the morning before our breakfast. A lot healthy choices. Not much for gluten free. But the staff put something together for me. Would definitely stay again!
The location was fantastic! Short walk to all shops and restaurants. The condo unit was very clean and tidy. All appliances were in good working condition. Great value for being in the heart of downtown Aspen.
The room is clean and warm. Daily breakfast is good and apres-ski snacks in the weekends is lovely. The location is 5min walk to the shuttle bus to ski resorts. Check in and out is quite easy too.
The on demand hotel complimentary taxi took us directly to Aspen highland, the place to take the shuttle to maroon bell.
However Aspen is def over priced.
