It was close to a market, pharmacy, gas station and McDonalds. It was a large apartment and accommodated 5 people easily. There are no other houses on the street and had plenty of green space around it for my kids to play.

Spent the afternoon bicycling around town to various sites .
Spent the afternoon bicycling around town to various sites ... Elmira College, Mark Twain Octagon Room, cemetery, Newtown Battlefield, etc. a good street map would have helped or Visitors Center. Interesting architecture. Found a good restaurant. Small town with a lot of pluses. Local people very friendly.
