Fort Dodge isn't really a destination city, but if you are staying here, there are some nice places to eat. The mall is under construction, so shopping is limited compared to usual. There is a nice place for family fun called Fort Frenzy and if you are here in the summer there is a nice place for swimming called Rosedale Rapids Aquatic Center.

The person that was assigned to clean our room did not.
The person that was assigned to clean our room did not. The sheets were dirty and the bathroom floor was dirty.
However, the one only person working this time of night was the management at the desk. She changed our sheets and apologized and also was able to take some of our bill. She handled it very nicely.
Nothing at all, the place was really far from stores or any malls and the place was definitely secluded. You would have to travel far from the hotel to reach the markets! The place was dirty and so small. The front desk and manager or whoever she was taking charge was absolutely disgusting with her attitude. Would never recommend this place!
Quiet hotel. Showers and beds were excellent. I would give it a 10 except the internet was not good even after calling the assistance number. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. They also adjusted our reservation without question. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
From the highway that “we” were traveling, we had to drive a extra 8 miles to get to the hotel, but that’s my fault. It was late, and we were tired. It was worth it, though. Comfy beds, nice room. We wish breakfast was served about an hour later than it is.
We had to stay one night because we couldn't get a transfer to Ames (after the arrival of our flight in the afternoon to the Fort Dodge airport). While the facilities were not bad, the price is excessive for what the hotel and the place have to offer.
Nice, clean, basic hotel with a nice little breakfast! It was pretty full due to a dance competition but the service was still pretty good. It was really just a short stay for us so not much else to comment on!
The staff was friendly and greeted us when we arrived at our left the hotel. One of the staff members/manager offered to help carry stuff up stairs for me so the staff was great.
It’s nothing that I liked we had to leave our hotel for the next door hotel because I asked as
Perfectly rooms close and queen beds and extra bed in the room none was provided
Outstanding, They just kept refilling everything!! Usually at a hotel once its gone- its gone so you have to go really early. Food was hot and delicious.
