Plenty to do, whether you're looking to shop, eat, drink, or travel. I mainly travelled to Monterey and San Jose. I would recommend beginning travel early, as once the 3:00 PM traffic hits, prepare for stop and go traffic and delays. Without traffic, you can get to Monterey in about an hour, shorter if headed towards San Jose.

It was a nice comfortable place. The room was a nice size and very bright and cheery. The hotel was relatively close to restaurants and some other services. I would recommend this place to other travelers for a short stay.

I visit Fremont only when I have to. I lived in the South Bay Area (Cupertino: 1956-20007) and got out just in time. My wife still has a rental property and some old friends in Fremont, otherwise I would not want to return. The hotel is old but It's comfortable and make us feel like home. I enjoy the breakfast especially potato very delicious. I came down after 9:00 but they still have plenty to eat even It's a little late. There are staffs waiting to see if guests need anything. That makes me feel good and welcome. We really enjoy our stay and plan to stay here again when we visit Fremont.
