For this area it was a pretty good affordable option. The hotel was close to the slopes, Aspen and Vale were just an hour drive. We were able to rent skis i the town for much cheaper than what we would pay in Aspen. The town was nice and cozy - had pretty good shops, amenities and (cheap) restaurants with good food. The location of the town is also very convenient - very easy drive from highway.
The hotel had everything you need for a longer stay. Rooms are comfortable, had kitchen, nice tv with Netflix and Youtube, comfortable bed and a big sofa. It was a good place to relax after hitting the slopes. The hotel lobby is very nice and new (it has a fireplace!). There is a firepit outside. We never got to go to the gym, pool or spa but they looked nice when we were walking by.
The staff was extremely nice and friendly.

I'm still livid that the management would choose to subject guests to FOX news propaganda while visiting the lobby while checking in and eating breakfast. All those supporting the former treasonous insurrectionist lying criminal traitor do not belong in the hospitality industry.
I'm extremely offended.

Great town where real people live and work, not like the resort towns of Beaver Creek and Vail. We stayed as a mini-break during a longer ski vacation. The hot springs are a brilliant way to relax and enjoy the winter sunshine. Expensive to get in at $32, plus another $8 for a towel rental (Probably cheaper to buy one at Walmart!), but you can come & go all day if you wish. The vapour caves are quieter & more serene with a sad history of the white folks displacing the native Americans. You probably need to book in advance as they need to limit entrants to the caves - $20 for 2hr stay, including a towel!
Plenty of choice of restaurants and bars in town, all within walking distance. Easy drive to Glenwood Springs as the I70 (and railway line) go right through the middle.

Room was very small, smelled like mildew, air conditioner didn’t work, breakfast was horrible, beds were very old and hard and slanted towards the edges of the bed. The hot springs pool was wonderful and the staff there were friendly and helpful.

Should not be charging for open lot parking.
Should not be charging for open lot parking. Should offer at least a continental breakfast. Way too many additional add-on charges. 15% tax in Glenwood Springs (?). The room charge per night apparently, as I was told, varies according to hotel bookings. We were there off season. Room service, minimal clean towels, emptying trash, only occurs after a 2 night stay Really? The staff was the best. Attentive and friendly.

Lovely hotel, centrally located.
Lovely hotel, centrally located. Room had all the facilities one could need. Breakfast was included and was very good. Despite being central and directly on a busy road it was surprisingly quiet.
Highly recommended if in the area or having a session in the Hot Springs!

Love the ambience of this historic hotel. Being close to the holidays, it was being beautifully decorated. Enjoyed having coffee in the lobby & relaxing by the fireplace & watching the goings on. Excellent location with easily walk to downtown & hot springs pool. There’s also a property discount to both hot springs. Though we didn’t use it, there is a shuttle available for local transportation based on availability. Food was very good!
Booking missed up our reservations, so when I checked in I needed to pee, the clerk would not allow me to pee, said there was no bathroom. They where to deduct $120 our of 587.72, however, we where over charded by $35. Very dissatisfied with the way Booking handled this as well as the Hotel!!! SAD!!!!
The family suite was a good size for our family of five. The bedside lighting in the bedroom is very good. The free breakfast was decent, a typical continental breakfast. The location is excellent
, close to the two main springs, and there is a Ride Glenwood Springs stop near the hotel.
I did not eat breakfast because I did not stay at this hotel.
It is looking like motel instead of hotel. We were trying
to cancel our reservation which was prepaid but we couldn't. They charged us extra money for cancelation
and they didn't give back the remaining money to us.
The rooms were well laid out, comfortable and spacious. The hotel location is great and the rooms were quiet despite being in the centre of downtown. Nice that the hotel has its own brewery and is walking distance to lots of restaurants, the parks and the springs.
This is the cutest little hotel. Check-in was super fast and easy. On check-in, staff was very pleasant and helpful. Even gave us beach towels to use for the hot springs. The room is very nice and spacious, and the view is incredible! The location is perfect!
This hotel will tick most of the boxes for most of the people. Good clean room with good set of facilities such as fridge microwave and coffee maker, breakfast is reasonable with breads cereals yogurt and freshly boiled eggs location is good.
Great location between downtown Glenwood Springs and the Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Nice views from the front windows, even better ones from the balcony patio. Great place to eat the continental breakfast and watch the sun rise.
Hotel Denver is right on the row with lots of restaurants, convenient to train station, partial river views. Charming semi-rustic ambiance. I’ve stayed there many times and I’m happy to keep coming back.
We didn’t eat the breakfast we ate out. We didn’t use the pool or jacuzzi we went to the hot springs. The iron mountain 10% off was really great and that the gondola is right next to the hotel Is great.
The Hotel is a excellent location. It near a gas station and liquor store and some restaurants. It also a 5 to 10 minutes drive to the hot springs and to the Adventure Park.
the owner lady was very friendly and accommodating.
location is very accessible and walking distance to restaurants and hot spring.
i did not regret choosing this lodge.
The room looks very neat and clean. Breakfast was very good. Walking for a shorter distance plus very close to the Hot Spring Pool and Downtown Glenwood Springs.
