Breakfast was good. Nothin special. Room was very clean. Pool hours are good. Should allow none glass beverages in there. Hot tub could use an up date pretty generic.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, I’m pretty happy with my stay. The pool is awesome but I wish the big pool was little warmer but the hot tub made it nicer. Overall it’s a very nice hotel to stay in GA. Price is fair as well

No breakfast, no restaurant. There was no kettle in the room even though there were tea bags in the room. When i asked why i was told there are no kettles in any room, only coffee machines.

Good location-adequate breakfast. Very disappointed in the cleanliness-one of our rooms had poo all over the toilet and on the walls. And a used "adult" item found under the bed by our kids! The other room-the microwave handle was broken. Just not what we have been used to staying at Travel Lodge.

I stayed in Grand Island on my way to my real destination.
I stayed in Grand Island on my way to my real destination. For navigation, I relied on Siri. I couldn't tell you how I got into or out of this town but it seemed convoluted. Lot's of fast food choices for those in a hurry which I am always in.

We were there for an agricultural event called "Husker Harvest Days" so we had little time to explore the city. We did visit the Stuhr Museum and enjoyed their display comparing "The Great Gatsby" to the same time period in Nebraska. They also have a permanent display of Nebraska's pioneering days.
We found a little 50's cafe in an area called "The Railside District".

The loud traffic that cruised the parking lot all night made you wonder if your car would be there in the morning. I had to leave a day early and the front desk was closed and no place to leave key. Called back to make sure I would get a refund for the night I didn't spend there. They refused to credit my card telling me I had to contact Booking.com to get them to refund. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Grand Island is the best place to stay if you are a birder.
Grand Island is the best place to stay if you are a birder. It is the beginning of the legendary Platte River, and is a special destination between February and April when the sandhill cranes journey north. The Platte River hosts half a million different kinds of birds every year. If you are a person who loves birds, this is Mecca. Craig and Kimberly’s place was a peaceful stopping point on our trip and I would definitely stay there again. Quiet, tasteful, and close to dozens of restaurants.

The people encountered in the community are friendly, and appear to be hardworking people in the community. There seemed to be a limited selection of restaurants in the strip leading into town and in the actual downtown.
Booked room through booking.com while traveling on interstate. I called actual hotel to confirm booking because of some past experiences of hotel not actually having rooms even though it was confirmed through Expedia or Booking.com. Sure enough, once again the hotel was full.. but after talking with receptionist at hotel, they found a room and saved it for us to get there in 1-1/2 hours. Super nice and empathetic to our exhaustion from driving. Great comfy beds, great bartender for 12:30 am nightcap. Wonderful buffet breakfast.
The accommodation was fine, it was just WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what it was. It was a busy baseball weekend and hard to find a room while traveling. These rooms were older, but kinda fixed up to look new. They had the older hotel smell. The room was clean, but still not new enough to want to walk on the carpet. Breakfast was fine. The eggs were good, but not a ton of options. Again, it was ok, just not worth $225.
I read the reviews and arrived expecting a cheap motel and was just hoping it was clean and bug free. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very reasonable hotel room with new (or fairly new) furnishings. It seemed like work was still being done on the lobby, but the room was great.
Such a nice alternative to a hotel. Felt more like being home. Quiet, clean facilities with everything you need. Close to town. We were there to watch our son's football game and made a weekend of it. Stay here, don't hesitate! Added bonus, met their cute pups!
I’ve travel Nebraska frequently and stayed in a lot of hotels (especially Omaha, Lincoln, and Kearney). This is one of the cleanest and quietest across the state. Will definitely go back.
Older hotel but clean and comfortable. Good beds. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Front desk man, can't recall name was just as nice and helpful as possible. Great employee!
The hotel was nicer than I expected based off some reviews. We had a pool view room with outside access, which was really nice. The outdoor area in the middle of the hotel was nice.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. lots of breakfast options and fresh. staff kept food stations stocked and washed tables frequently. room clean, comfy bed
The one good thing about the hotel was that it was in a pretty convenient location, very close to restuarants as well as walmart and the heartland event center.
The ice was in a convenient location for second floor rooms.
Breakfast was in a separate building but readily accessible from most anywhere in the hotel.
