Breakfast has good variety of items. The lady that takes care of the breakfast area is very friendly. When the sausage was all, she made more and went around to tge tables to see if they needed more. Coffee is just right, not too strong.

We went to a military swap meet at the airbase and only stayed one night at the hotel. We would have liked to stay atleast 2 to 3 nights but had another engagement. The swap meet was great, my husband restores military HMMWV'S so we were on a mission to get parts. It would have been nice to wander around more, next time!

Hagerstown is a great place to stay when visiting Antietam battlefield. Additionally, it has great facilities for doing laundry and stocking up on items depleted during an extended trip. The choice of restaurants is excellent as well.

Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown.
Ate at a great, local restaurant downtown. Just stayed the night in town as we were coming from Harpers Ferry and were going to see Antietam National Battlefield the next day. I wish I'd taken the time to explore downtown Hagerstown. The architecture was really cool!

An old town with a lot of character and history dating back to the 18th century. The downtown area a a thriving A & E district with lots of unique dining and drinking available. It is the county seat of Washington County, yes that Washington and home to a particularly delicious local food staple that can only be found in this area. You'll have to experience this for yourself. The locals call it a "steamer". Just one of many delightful surprises to behold in Hagerstown.

I went there to see a play at the Washington County Community Playhouse. The play was great. Everyone there is very friendly & accomodating. Food was good. I went too the Hagerstown Roundhouse Museum. They don't have a lot but what they do have is interesting too look at & learn about. They have an engine, several cabooses & some cars & other items outside. They have the last trolley to run in Washington County MD outside their museum. They also have a gift shop. Very friendly folks.
This is my third trip to the Hagerstown area and the 3rd time I ended up at this Travelodge due to disastrous accommodations booked elsewhere. It is always clean. I can smell just a hint bleach in the linens and the towels. I like that they have no carpet in the rooms, so I don't have to worry about allergens trapped in the rugs. They have a decent size refrigerator and microwave. The beds are firm, but comfortable. The staff is friendly and polite.
we needed a pet friendly hotel for one night. charged $25 extra for our cat. a good value and decent location. the room was fine. very dingy and tired and they do their best with what they have. both shower and sink drains were clogged. I was with my husband but id feel uncomfortable staying here alone as the rooms are fairly isolated. hallways not well lit. fridge microwave in room. kuerig type machine broken. said breakfast included but we saw none.
The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel continental many choices and everything good, coffee was fantastic ! I'd like to know the brand. Love the small bar and the fireplaces made our evening ! Room was clean comfortable to beds were great. I'm 6'3"tall and for once had room. Large shower great and even TV was good with variety. Most definitely staying there again when we return which we will be !
We usually stay at a different local hotel, but have now stayed at the Hampton Inn twice. It has a nice assortment of breakfast options, clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, spacious bathrooms, a coffee/tea/hot chocolate station, and friendly and helpful staff. My husband now says he prefers the Hampton Inn as our primary layover choice when driving up the east coast.
Felt like home. But then I was born and raised across the Dual Highway on Howell Road. And I mowed the lawn for Mr. Moore when it was the Towne Motel in the 50's. That structure was demolished and replaced with the current structure. Mostly farmland at that time.
Loved the location. It was conveniently near shopping plazas, restaurants, and gas stations. Loved that it was pet friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast.
Grand hotel; room was excellent. Great value. I have paid $200 per night for less value.
Gracious and professional staff. Went out of their way to insure satisfaction and delight in this encounter.
