Great place to stay for a night if you're passing through town. There's a church on the same lot as the motel. Not sure if it's affiliated or not though. The view was spectacular, the bed was comfy, the ac worked great, there was a refrigerator, microwave, little table to eat on, bathroom was very clean, the owners were very nice and accommodating, and Lexington seems like a very quaint town. We went to Natural Bridge the next day, which was about 10 miles south, and had a great time on our way to Tennessee. We liked it so much we thought about staying there on our way home from our Tennessee trip, butwe decided just to drive straight home and not stop at all. But if we had stopped, we would have stopped there again. The only negative thing was there was only one nightstand, the left side of the bed did not have one and they're really just wasn't quite enough room for one. It was a king size bed but there was plenty of room for everything else. I love supporting mom and pop shops, motels, and other businesses, so this was perfect for us. I highly recommend it here.

Lexington is a serene, historical college town embedded in the Shenandoah area. It is quite a pleasure to walk around the town and college campus of Washington & Lee. VMI is also there. There is quite a lot of civil war history around here being along Virginia's Civil War Trails. One can visit the many shops and restaurants downtown, or stop through the Jackson House Museum. The town is also very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which then leads on to Shenandoah National Park. Lexington is a nice place to stop for a day or two.

Comfortable beds and a tv with an actual, physical channel guide. Didn’t have to channel surf. Breakfast could have offered some fresh fruit and bagels would have been nice too. The eggs and bacon were good, nice and warm.

We've only been to town twice. The area is very cute. Heliotrope Brewing has excellent beer and pizza - even with vegan options. Lots of natural beauty to explore nearby. We will make this our halfway stop as we travel NC-PA.

Good location, clean, comfortable.restaurant right next door. I did not get the room I booked. Had to have a cot brought in fir our grandson. No compassion from front desk , said they don’t know how online booking works. No other rooms available.also did not advertise the pool was down. Sign on pool door says closed for construction , will reopen in April. It’s July. Had I known pool was down I would have booked elsewhere overall huge disappointment

Loved the historic hotel. It was a last-minute stop as we were traveling to Washington, DC but so glad we pulled off the interstate and found Lexington. The room was small and awkwardly laid out for two beds. Had a dormitory feel, but was clean with quaint features and the bathroom was very updated. We will definitely stay again and make reservations in advance for a single room!

We always stay at the Comfort Inn Virginia Horse Center when we travel through Va on I81. The location is easy to find and quiet. We usually drive to downtown Lexington to walk about and then go to the Devil Backbone Brewpub a short drive for dinner. The breakfast is fine for travelers like us who need a quick bite to eat before we hit the road again the next morning.

The room was very clean and had an interesting layout. The room was quite large with a sitting area in the front and the bedroom in the back, I liked being outside of Lexington and the motel had a great view of the countryside. There were only a few people at the motel and it sits high above the highway so it was extremely quiet.

The beds were comfortable enough. Room was nice. The hotel was in a great central location, close to places on our itinerary, gas, highway, and other conveniences (Walmart/Food/Pharmacy). There is a Ruby Tuesday right beside the hotel. The pool area was nice and there was a small gym (I didn't use, but someone else was).

Breakfast was great, the staff was friendly. The rooms could have been a bit cleaner, particularly the bathroom. The location was further from our destination of Lynchburg than we realized, but that is not the hotel's fault! Best pillows and most comfortable beds of any hotel I've stayed in!

We stayed here for a horse show at the Virginia Horse Center and the location could not have been better! So close! Additionally, all the staff was so nice, they were always at the front desk if I needed anything, our dogs were welcomed, and the breakfast was good for this level of hotel.

The Hotel was part of an historic building on a beautiful piece of property. It was clean and the breakfast was good. The porch was an excellent location to read earlier in the morning. My Wife and I will not hesitate to stay there again if we are in the Lexington, VA area.
