It's a very pretty house, with really nice decorations, very much Victorian style! The location is in a cute town with lots of nature around. Was easy to see fall colors.

The interior is done very well, clearly the owners invested considerably into renovations and interior decorating.

We stayed the weekend for our anniversary with our two small children.
The location is absolutely stunning! The place was very well kept and has everything you need for a great stay!
The outdoor setup is perfect for a relaxing warm night!
Family friendly in case you have children staying too.
My only issue was the larger bed being quite hard but that has nothing to do with the host, that's just personal opinion. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back this summer!

Good location, nice employees, rooms were very clean.
Good location, nice employees, rooms were very clean. It is an older hotel and really could use a cosmetic overhaul but it had comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels. It was a perfect place if you are looking for a clean place to shower and rest.

This hotel is not very clean.
This hotel is not very clean. The bathroom in room 206 was dirty and the bed and an armchair had bedbugs that bit my whole body. I recommend you to evaluate the service of this hotel. This situation caused me a lot of discomfort and I had to go to the doctor so that he could evaluate me and give me medication for the bedbugs.

There are homeless people living there.
There are homeless people living there. It was filthy and stunk of smoke. When we went to see the room, people came out of their rooms and watched us. We ran out of there as the police were showing up. Booking.com should NOT do business with this establishment. I will be pursuing things further.

Lobby looks nothing like photos posted online.
Lobby looks nothing like photos posted online. Was dirty and dingy. Room was spacious but unappealing. Toilet bowl had a ring around it, room was stale. No elevator to second floor, and stairway carpeting was stained as well. Entire place was unkempt and pretty disgusting.

We ate outdoors at a small Thai restaurant near out hotel with good service. We also found a great diner (up on the hill) in town which had an expansive menu, some outdoor seating, great service and very good food. The town itself had many empty storefronts and long-closed businesses which made it look sad, but it was a convenient , inexpensive place for us to stay so we could attend a special event at Bethel Woods.

Liberty is a small, quiet family town.
Liberty is a small, quiet family town. The friendly diner serves up tasty dishes. There are several other restaurants. We enjoyed a simple yet tasty meal at the Indian restaurant. The extensive collections at Town & Country Antiques were great fun to explore. We found just the right gift there. The entire area has wonderful scenery and outdoor activities.
The owner, Yogi, was excellent. He went up and beyond as he welcomed us and gave credit to me. I explained that someone tried to still my VISA account and would need a day to straighten things out with my Credit Union. On my word, he accepted my condition and we actually stayed one extra day because of how nice he is. Along with his family. Not many in today's world would give a person such trust and welcome. Hope the best for them as they restore an old building to a clean and welcoming hotel.
Location was good right next to highway for easy access. The hotel is old and could use some updating, but the rooms were very clean. The room had a ceiling fan which was nice since it wasn't really warm enough for air conditioning, it kept the room comfortable. We had an issue with a faucet and it was fixed immediately. The staff was very nice.
The room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a microwave and good sized refrigerator in the room. There was renovation going on and the outside appearance was bad, but we needed a place in this area in order to attend a special event. No breakfast was available, but there was a very good diner nearby which opened at 6am.
First they had only reserved one room when our reservation was for 2. Then they gave us a room that definitely was not "in rotation". Very dirty, many bugs. There was a hole in the bathtub near the drain. Way past needing a renovation.
had no breakfast and they had bed bugs I never ever answer these things but something needs to be done about that place having bed bugs that is just wrong sick growth and makes it very uncomfortable I left early they should be sued
This was the cleanest 1 Star hotel ever, much nicer and much cleaner than many 3 star hotels I’ve stayed. Yogi and his family are incredibly helpful and observant of your needs. You won’t be disappointed staying here, a real gem.
The suitability of location comes down to what a renter wants to be close to. So, no complaints. A very good diner (New Munson's) was not a far drive away in the town of Liberty.
The staff was welcoming (:We were expecting you.". The room was clean. I had everything that I needed and it was MUCH BETTER than the Days Inn in town where I'd stayed last summer
For the price I paid wasn’t worth it the standards was very poor. 150.00 was to much for a motel WiFi wasn’t working. When I come to town budget hotel wouldn’t be on my list
