The room suites with the bedroom separately from the living space was exceptional! I loved this separation of the two; you can get ready in your room and still have privacy from the living room. Bonus was every room had a full fridge and freezer, hotplate stove, dish washer.. I will ONLY book moving forward with Homewood Suites! The best hotel I've ever stayed in!

This hotel is within easy walking distance of the historic Salem port, and of restaurants in this historic district. Our room was large, with two huge beds {one king-sized bed might have been preferable}.

Front desk woman was doing laundry. (About 9:30pm). I didn't know she was working both jobs at this time. A note at the desk said helping customer, be right back, so I waited. She saw me but continued laundry tasks for many minutes before a customer came by and asked her for change, she left laundry, crossed the hall to the front desk, got him change, I asked if front desk person would be back. I need to check in. She td me it was her, then checked me in. She saw me at least 7 minutes before but never came to check me in!!! This is totally unacceptable!

The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there.
The bed was comfortable. We did not feel safe there. People were hanging out in the back parking lot and sitting on the floor in the hallway near the room we stayed in. The outside door did not always shut tight and was unlocked during the day. Kids pulled the fire alarm. We were to stay 3 nites. We left after the first day. It was not what I expected from what Bookings showed. I won’t go through any company again

We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums...
We planned to explore Salem and visit as many of the museums as possible in 4 days. Staying in Peabody allowed us extremely quick access into Salem, the hotel price was much cheaper than any other accommodation in Salem itself. The hotel was in a good location directly off the highway allowing quick access to multiple routes to take. The parking lot was fairly large, it wrapped around the entire hotel allowing at least anywhere between 60-100 parking spots. The pool was in a good location, however it was limited to 10 people and you were limited to 1 hour of swim time. Our room came supplied with enough storage for our clothing and luggage bags. Our shower was handicapped accessible, however we noticed a lot of the water would drain out onto the bathroom floor. The bathroom was ready for use as soon as we got there. Equipped with towels, a hair dryer, travel size lotion, shampoo, & soap. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered any questions we had, took care of our room while we were away, and didn’t bother us at all during our stay. Definitely wish we had more time to spend in Massachusetts.

We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem...
We stayed in Peabody but our main reason for going was Salem. We did find very good food in Peabody though. Lots and lots of stores, very populated and you can find anything you need close by. Driving here was a nightmare for us; we are not used to there being no lines on the roads in some parts, no signs for merging lanes and every road being as big/fast as a highway. Very scenic roads though so as the passenger, it was nice haha.
Its in a great location for going to downtown Boston and heading over to Salem. Rooms were as described. Water pressure was good and overall was clean. We didn't hangout in the room too often, mostly used it just to rest and get back on the road in the morning. Would recommend for those who are older and just looking for a place to sleep when heading through MA.
Close to Salem and Boston, and just half an hour from the airport! The front desk ladies were the sweetest and so helpful. We had issues with our original hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay Halloween week in Salem, but luckily they had availability and were more than accommodating to us :) Nice large rooms, and for the most part clean.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and convenient. Room was very confortable, parking is included. The hotel is 15 minutes from the Oak Grove subway station (by car) and there is parking there for under $10 a day. We loved it.
The property is ideally located right on Route 1, which gives you instant access to all the major roadways in the area. Staff was accommodating to my need for a room change. Breakfast was hot and ready on time.
Bathroom was beautiful and clean. TV worked and had cable. It was required to use your key to use the back entrance of the hotel which deterred homelessness from getting inside.
Great place to stay. The hotel was in a great area very convenient to get to travel to different locations. The rooms were nice and cleaned. The staff were very pleasant.
Breakfast was very good. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely stay at the Hampton Inn Boston/Peabody again when in the Boston area.
Very helpful personell, laundry for guests, pool inside hotel. good breakfasts. place to buy something to eat and drink for evening. Very comfortable room.
