Didn't have the breakfast but coffee was great
.close to where my sister was in rehab
Rice Lake is a wholesome town! Don't expect clubs or nightlife. Expect decent people that treat each other with respect. Many locals have spent their entire lives here. It's a special place!

Downtown Rice Lake is quaint with many small businesses.
Downtown Rice Lake is quaint with many small businesses. There are a variety of restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop, clothing, bookstore etc. A few of my favorites are Moongate, Thyme Worn Treasures for clothing and accessories. Market Place is a nice grocery store and their gas is very decently priced. There is also a very nice Aldi’s right next to Culver’s.
There is a nice park just a couple minutes from downtown with Rice Lake in the park. Very beautiful scenery. Everyone is very friendly in this town.
Adventures is a great family restaurant to order out or eat in. Friendly staff and great service.
You also have some fast food chains of Culver’s, McDonalds, Burger King, Hardee’s, Dairy Queen. Wicked Whisk has excellent fresh food and delicious bakery goods. I bring items home from here every time I visit.

We made the mistake of booking this Super 8 in the wrong...
We made the mistake of booking this Super 8 in the wrong City. Within a half an hour we realized our error and contact the manager. He refused to refund our $88 even though we did not stay there. Given the fact that the manager here seems to care more about money than its customers, I would not recommend staying at the Super 8. Are you ready to pick take a flat go out there and get on the right shoulder the last person just get a pink flag and head towards the woods just this week probably yes
So booked my room a week out. Then we get to the hotel and pay. But not tell after we pay then we are told the pool and hot tub are down and no email or anything was sent to tell us and we were not given the opportunity to cancel are stay to find a new place with pool and hot tub. Also tried to reach out and have not heard a word back. Very disappointing
The staff were all very polite and friendly! Rice lake is a wonderful place to be held over for work as I was. The bowling alley has nice staff which was across the street. The Econo Lodge had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. I enjoyed the hot tub!
We didn't eat the breakfast - went across the street to Maxine's Restaurant.
The heater/air conditioning unit was nice and quiet. Some hotels are very noisy.
Enjoyed the hot tub/whirlpool, but it needs painting. Main pool was too cold for us.
The breakfast is not as good as I have had at other hotels. One problem was the lack of selection of tea. There was only green tea bags available. There was no one around to ask if other types were available. The food selection was mediocre.
Very well kept. Great staff, pet friendly and priced right. Owners and staff were always busy with maintenance of some sort. Very comfortable and clean. Thank you for a great vacation.
Even though the hotel was fairly full, we only heard other people when they were right outside our room door as they walked past. Very quiet building. The bed was very comfortable.
