Relaxing hotel which makes you feel on holiday. There is a patio where you can grab a bite with live music. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool but it looked very clean.
The personnel were extremely nice and they offered me a late check out till 1 pm which was perfect. They have a free shuttle that takes you to Universal and the metro station.

Congested, chaotic and fairly dirty. Biggest disappointment: Balboa Lake Park -- this used to be a fantastic, beautiful place to bring our family, now it is rundown, overgrown and they've let the gorgeous trees and grass fields die! What a waste!

I didn’t like that the water in the shower was always barely warm, and it was cold enough for California outside.
