This is a motel with helpful staff.

This is a motel with helpful staff. Nothing out of the ordinary. That said it was clean and bed was comfortable enough for a one or two night stay. They do have a swimming pool which in this hot weather would be nice, if you have time to rest at the hotel but my trip was family business and I was in and out. The manager was accommodating due to family needs and for that I am thankful.

Convenient location to BART, Restaurants and jogging trail.

Convenient location to BART, Restaurants and jogging trail. Happy hour and breakfast good. Staff very pleasant If they are not going to service your room during your stay, should have place to dispose of garbage and recyclable materials. People left garbage by elevators which was not good… was not picked up for 2 days. Reported it twice to front desk. Do like having room tidied up daily.

They've done an excellent job of bringing this Motel 6 up to snuff. The staff was friendly and were a great help even when I arrived early for ck-in. Room was spotless, the heater/AC, and wifi worked, and the bed was comfortable. All in all much better than I expected for an economy motel. Definitely will use it again.

It's a town that has seen significantly changes over the past couple of decades, To the positive, the restaurants have improved in quantity and quality, the majority of the downtown shops are disability accessible, and traffic is usually light to moderate even during the busiest commute hours. "Dragon Pond" continues to be a favorite Chinese source of better dining in the downtown area, and there are a couple of others new sites close to City Hall...it's worth exploring the length of South Main & Locust Streets to find your own favorite(s)...do try "La Fogata" for great Mexican food, though (South Main=).

The only problem was the front desk could not find our reservation under my name and we had to wait as they checked their computer .... they still did not find the reservation. However they compensated us with two rooms, a suite and a single room with a queen bed. With no additional charge. We did not get the two queen beds and two double beds .

The rooms are spacious, we had a king suite with plenty of room for my husband and adult daughter. The beds are comfortable, there are large TV's in both the sitting area and bedroom and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The shower have dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash and towels large with good thickness. Breakfast is the Embassy suites standard with plenty available. In the evenings they have happy hour with 2 complementary cocktails (each day of your stay)and light hor d'oeuvres that change daily.

Great room, looks like they have been redone. Plenty of room. Eventhough I coulld see the freeway, I did not hear the cars much. Quiet throughout the hotel. Price was good and it did not have a lot of extras taxed on that you don't see upfront. Plenty of help to check in and out, no wait. Not anyones fault with covid, but it would have been nice to have the bar opened. Parking was good and convenient.

I booked a room with two double beds and when I showed up to check in they did not have a room with two double beds. Was travelling with kids. Just a single double which was very uncomfortable. The pool is nice and food ordering by the pool was good. The room itself was dirty and felt like a basic hotel. The room did not match the 400$ we paid for it. Would not return to this hotel

The reception desk was extremely informative and friendly. We were exhausted from our trip and just wanted to rest before visiting friends. It was quiet and cool, considering the excruciating heat of the day. ONLY one annoyance was the neighbors' dog who yapped every time we walked by the door to head out of the hotel. But that's beyond the hotel's control.

I like the location and I am a returning customer as I have a friend who lives in Walnut Creek and that is where my friends and I stay when we visit her. We have always had a pleasant stay. I do understand due to Covid how difficult things are for hotels so I lowered my expecation. However, it was very disappointing.

Excellent location just a short walk to Walnut Creek shops, clean & comfortable with everything you need. Friendly receptionist. I didn’t find the motorway noise disruptive in the slightest. This will be my go-to place to stay when visiting family in the area.

Good central location in Walnut Creek, nice spacious room. First room had no view and little light, we were able to move after the second night to a better one. Next time I'll explicitly ask at reservation time.

The room was comfortable with a full size refrigerator and stove and plenty of room to spread out on the couch. I also loved that there was a smart TV since hotels usually don't have good cable channels.

The hotel is right by a highway and noisy. It has no charm, but is a reasonable place for people, like us, who just want a less-expensive place to sleep.
