Graskop is a small town and has a couple of nice restaurants we went to. Has a small grocery store for supplies and was central for us to see all the sites we had on our list. It was also quiet where we stayedand the weather was nice and cool when we were there in March.

Graskop town and Pilgrims Rest town are rundown which is sad. There are potholes everywhere which makes driving difficult There needs to be street lines painted and cat eyes installed onto the roads as you come into Graskop from Hazyview. The fog and early evening driving makes it difficult to see and dangerous. Gods Window, the Three Rondavels, Blyde River Canyon and Bourke's Luck Potholes are just spectacular and made the trip worth while.

The view is why you go.

The view is why you go. The apparment was medium size with a lovely view over the pool and mountain range. Due to loadshedding that evening we had no electricity, and the establishment did not make provision for that for us. Luckily the restaurant manager borrowed us a light which we returned the next morning. The food was delicious. Would be great if they would serve breakfast as well. But let me tell you, this place is worth the drive, the view is to die for and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Easy drive to the main places of interest. The house is well equipped. I would recommend this house to my family and friends. Grasskop has no fast food places. Harrie's pancakes is well worth a visit.

My absolute favourite spot is Mac mac pools, that is the coolest natural pool to swim in. Visited three rondavels, Graskop Gorge lift, God's window Mac Mac falls and Lisbon fall. All these places are worth a visit however you must be prepared to drive. Graskop should be named the jewel of Mpumalanga.

Beautiful spot with lots of little restaurants and craft shops to check out. People are very friendly. The views are amazing! For incredible views, wine and pizzas, check out 'Divine Foods at the View' but make sure to book to avoid disappointment. There are short little hikes. We did Jock of the Bushveld and that was cool. There are other shorter hikes between Graskop and Sabie that we did not go to. It was a charming little town.

    - very quite, although some people complain about the frog noise, but for us was not a problem, it is part of the nature and mainly the reason why you travel to SA; - great staff, they really take care of you; - The breakfast was amazing, many things very home made and the quality is very high. I loved the mango jam and the cold cuts, cheese were not of my taste. The eggs were super fresh! - You are not far away from graskop, 5 min by car and at the beginning of the panorama route.

Our stay at Rustique Guesthouse was truly delightful! The breakfast served was perfect, offering a delicious start to our day The host was incredibly helpful, providing valuable information about potential excursions in the neighborhood, which enhanced our overall experience. The cozy atmosphere and warm welcome made us feel right at home. We highly recommend Rustique Guesthouse for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Graskop and as start of the panoramaroute !

The hostess for Havana Nights lives on the property. Basically the property is an extension of her house. She was incredibly helpful and friendly and gave us a really good idea of how to navigate the Panorama route in one day. The property offered all the necessities including a well equipped kitchen (which we did not use, since we were just there one night). The hostess recommended good restaurants nearby in Graskop

Place was clean and very comfortable, friendly staff. The location was very central to all the attractions, Graskop Gorge, God's window, lisbon falls, Berlin falls. Bourkes luck potholes, Blyde river canyon, 3 Rondawels. We visited Pilgrims Rest on our way out of Graskop. Harry's pancakes was lovely. We took walks at night, that's how safe it is in Graskop. We enjoyed our swim at the accommodation pool.

The host was super friendly and provided us with great tips. She also booked us a lovely dinner at the glasshouse in Graskop. Our stay was perfect. The accommodation was very secluded, peaceful, and quiet. It is situated a few minutes away from Graskop and is quite close to several attractions on the Panorama Route. The accommodation was affordable and the owner was a pleasure to interact with. All the facilities worked well and the kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. There was also daily room service.

The place is idyllic, and absolutely beautiful. The host was very friendly, and explained absolutely everything to us (including some great advice on which roads to take, where to eat, how to be safe during some roadworks etc.). The cottage is something from a movie. Every popular spot on the panorama route is within an hour from here.

Very good base for exploring the panorama route and surrounds and also perfect if you just want to to unwind in the quiet setting.
