This was a very pleasant surprise. Loved everything about the place. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen was spotless. The host Donovan was awesome, from bringing early morning coffee before our game drive, to the lovely packed breakfast and even the ice cold water when we got back. Loved the personal touches, really felt like a home away from home. Definitely looking forward to going back for a longer stay.

The house is modern and beautiful.

The house is modern and beautiful. I’m not sure if they don’t offer body soap as we didn’t have in the bathroom. It would be perfect if the bedrooms can have a chair or a couche otherwise the house has everything

Loved Marloth Park. Excellent little Spar

Loved Marloth Park. Excellent little Spar Ate at 2 restaurants - Amazing River view and Giraffe. Both Very good. The views at the river one are lovely. Loved the animals roaming around. The dirt roads could do with a bit of grading. But apart from that, would definitely stay here again.

    Close to crocodile bridge.

Close to crocodile bridge. Malelane is only half an hour away. Komatipoort is small and does not have many storey, so get your groceries from malelane before you get to Marloth . They were opening a small spar there before we left marloth.

Staying at Marloth Park allows you to view animals within the park and is close to the Kruger Park if you are going to do a day visit there.- The Kruger Maroela Lodge was well priced and very comfortable. Very friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. The on site restaurant had a good menu that is well priced. Well worth using. I would definitely stay at Maroele Lodge again!!

Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature.

Lovely to stay amongst the animals and to enjoy nature. However, for more that 30 years, nothing has been done to improve roads. The roads really are in very poor condition. For example, if they have paved 50 meters of road every month, then after 30 years they would have covered 18 Km! Shops and restaurants are good and are still improving. Security is very good.

What a fantastic place! The location is great in Marloth park; lots of animals came to visit us at the lodge - zebras, widlebeest, warthogs, kudu, impala, mongoose. And a 1min walk down to the river and we saw elephants, hippos, giraffes the other side of the river. The accomodation was fantastic too - very clean, and such a lovely room spacious and luxurious. We stayed in the honeymoon suite as it was our honeymoon and could not think of a better place to stay.

This lodge is located right on the edge of the crocodile river that borders the Kruger National Park. The views are amazing and the wildlife that roam free on the grounds is out of this world. Kudu, Impala, warthogs, monkeys to name a few will all pass by for a visit. The sound of the fish eagle is breathtaking. At night you will enjoy the sounds of hippos, lion and hyena. Truly majestic. This lodge is not a big lodge so you feel spoilt and taken care of.

Fabulous accommodation in Marloth Park. The house is so spacious and with a fully equipped kitchen and each room having its own bathroom, it was perfect for four adults. We needed more than the week we spent there to enjoy all the facilities - pool, two lounges, library, games etc. Close up encounters with the animals, particularly the giraffes, was a highlight. Excellent care provided by Candice and Zama. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

House was as expected for a property in the bush, SA has load shedding of its electricity at the moment which was a shame (Not the host's fault) but with battery lights and a campfire, we managed. Was good to rent a complete house. Animals came up to the property and the area was very peaceful. The house had everything that is needed for a short stay. Marloth Park itself has all necessities (Petrol station, supermarkets, restaurant, pub, water park).

We loved the location and the property. The property was well equipped with everything that you need. The wildlife was incredible, the animals were in abundance and came right to the property for us to view and enjoy. We loved Marloth Park, it has everything you need to enjoy the bushveld but still have access to supermarkets, restaurants etc.

The owners neighbours who were so helpful to us when we were lost and called owner to find out where his wooden shed was. Owner had sent us a text at 6am in the morning when we were in Kruger without signal. Awful start especially as my messages were based on meeting someone at the house as every other place I stayed in marloth park had done.
