The Aram Yami Hotel Boutique, with only 6 exclusive suites, is set in a Baroque-style building from the 19th century, the Aram Yamí offers exclusively furnished accommodations, 2 pools, and panoramic... There wasn’t anything to fault with the Aram Yami hotel. The staff are absolutely incredible - attentive, informative and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast was superb - thank you to the kitchen staff who were always smiling! We chose the Bahia Suite which was perfect. Super large, comfortable bed with soft pillows, great A/C, separate shower and toilet and a wonderful view out to the pool. The pool area had stunning views across the bay. Complimentary drink and fruits on arrival. Wish we had more time here. Next time!

Amazing staff, it was our first time in Salvador they were very helpful and understanding, the view from our room was amazing, spacious room with air conditioning, good value for money.

Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Casa Almeida is a recently renovated homestay set in Salvador, 2.8 km from Praia do Canta Galo. We had a great stay in casa Almeida. It’s in a cosy neighborhood close to the historical center. Good beds and airconditioning. The breakfast was great with a lot of fresh fruit and homemade cake. Claudio was very friendly and helped with everything. Thanks!

Situated within 2.7 km of Praia do Canta Galo and 1.1 km of Pelourinho, Pousada Des Arts features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Salvador. The staff was extremely friendly and the locations was exceptional in the old town, but still extremely quiet for sleeping. The building itself was so beautiful and showed an attention to detail. They also organized a really good tour guide for us.

Conveniently set in the centre of Salvador, Bahia Pelô Hostel is within 2.5 km of MAM Beach and 500 metres of Pelourinho. The owner Natalia was very accommodating. She made sure our stay was comfortable and offered great communication. When she was not present her staff members Sandra and Marcel were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were some of the best we stayed in Salvador after a 3 week stay. The location is very good, right by all the attractions of Salvador. The beaches are not far away at all (Uber).

Pousada Esmeralda is located 700 metres from Pelourinho Historical District and 2.5 km from central Salvador. The pictures don't do the pousada justice, it's beautiful. The pousada is in an old house that has been renovated by the owners. So if this is what you're looking for, it's perfect. The hosts, Nathalie and Marco are so accommodating and were great to talk to. Giving recommendations, and taking us to the local market where we wanted to visit. The cat even allowed our son to harass him! The pousada in Santo Antonio is close enough, but yet far enough from the Pelourinho and also is close to a pleasant street with lots of bars and restaurants.
