Great location right next to the train station. The staff was very nice, and the paid option for a proper late checkout was a nice touch for those in transit.

The Hotel Krone Unterstrass enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Zurich, a short tram ride from the main train station. It offers you air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. I was scared we would get a bad hotel because of the price I paid (relative to the other hotels around the area), but the room was very nice and clean, way better than I was expecting. Bonus this hotel's plugs aren't the standard Swiss plugs where you need a special adaptor. Regular type C is fine. Bus stop is right outside the door, literally!! But you can opt to walk to the lake side/city center as well, around 20-30 minutes.

Cosy place the area is very quiet too. I think because it’s residential area. the transport is very close too.
