Boasting free bikes, a fitness centre as well as a bar, The St. Regis Qingdao is set in the centre of Qingdao, 1.1 km from Third Bathing Beach. the staff was very helpful,the bed was really comfortable, the view was spectacular, the hotel was right across from the ocean. 3 minute walk, very highly recommend.

Go here - dont waste money on the high rise hotels. Room was very quiet and double glazed. Restaurant was excellent. Lady at reception very helpful

Shangri-La Hotel is situated in Qingdao's central commercial district, 10 minutes' walk to May Fourth Square. The property boasts a fitness centre, spa and sauna rooms and 4 dining options. The Concierge and Staff where amazing. Breakfast is with all different types from Japanese, Chinese and European extraordinary. The room was great and super comfortable. We enjoyed all the days the great hospitality of a great first class hotel....

Nordic Memory in Qingdao features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Qingdao. This was my first visit to Qingdao and upon my arrival to the hotel, the staff was very warm, friendly and accommodating. Although there was a bit of a language barrier at first, we did manage to communicate well enough to finalize my reservation. The room was very lovely and had a serene calmness to it. The facilities in general were a historian's dream as I literally felt like I was living in a museum (even just for a few days). The decor, wall photos / hangings and other relics walked you through a timeline of the former consulate giving you a sense of what it must've been like in the past. While several amenities have been upgraded, it still managed to preserve the "old" style. The breakfast was nice and the fresh seasonal fruits were absolutely delicious and sweet! I enjoyed every morsel. I really enjoyed the location as it was walking distance to several restaurants and scenic spots. You could easily enjoy a walking tour in the area and visit the many neighboring European-styled villas and walk over to the beach on the other side. The boardwalk was a nice stretch along the bathing beaches and a great backdrop for amazing photography. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Qingdao for a few days along the beach in a quiet, yet bustling tourist area.

Located in the bustling area where shopping malls and office buildings are all around, The Westin Qingdao is only few steps from Wusi Square Subway Station (Line 2&3). Everything about this place was fantastic. The location 10 minutes walk to the beach, across the road is a high end Shopping Mall, subway station at the hotel entrance. Breakfast buffet filled with varieties of Chinese and Continental food of choices. As a foreigner was able to communicate with the outer world on WhatsApp and WeChat which I wasn’t able to do in other hotels in China due to internet restrictions.
