Hotel Orcagna is located in a quiet area near the Arno River. You can walk to Piazza S.Croce in 15 minutes, or get a bike at reception and visit the entire Florence. Very good hotel for the price , quiet area, near the river. We used public transportation which is 300meters away at the bus stop that goes to city center direcly. Also the breakfast was really good with couple of options and coffee-bagels etc.... Wi-Fi speed was good for everyone and they cleaned our room every day with new towels and coffee for the espesso machine which was in the room. The reception lady was very proffesional and kind. all recommendations

Ville Sull'Arno offers accommodation in Florence, right on the banks of the river Arno. It features a restaurant and a free wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna, and Turkish bath. Everything! Is perfectly located, the staff is amazing. Everything is perfect and cured in all the details and sooo pet friendly: always give us a couple of bowls and a pillow for my bbf Sophie.

Excellent location, great people on reception desk, all of them extremely polite, helping you to manage around the city and giving all the requested information about services, restaurants, etc. around the area. Very fair price, excellent hotel!

FH Grand Hotel Mediterraneo is set on the banks of River Arno, 1 km from Piazza Santa Croce. Rooms offer free WiFi, and there is an à-la-carte restaurant serving Tuscan dishes and special diet menus. Excellent and friendly staff, we were able to leave the car in the garage until late afternoon the next day, excellent breakfast, great location

Hotel Grifone Firenze - Urban Pool & Spa offers rooms in a quiet, residential area of Florence with excellent transport links. The hotel offers free WiFi and 24 hour front desk. When booking the room, I made a mistake and booked it for 2 adults (we also had our two boys with us). The reception quickly corrected my mistake and found us an accommodating room. And the breakfast here had the best breakfast options I've ever seen. Scrambled and boiled eggs, so many different coldcuts options, pastries, salad, breads, drinks, fruits, etc - nothing was missing. Lastly, the hotel has a spa downstairs, that you have to book ahead of time, and you get 90min just for you. There is a lava room, sauna, steam room, quiet room, and pool.

Set in Florence, 2.4 km from Piazza della Signoria and 2.6 km from Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Fiorino House offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. A highly recommended place to stay in Florence. Not in town centre, so away from traffic and noise. It is situated in a quiet residential area, on a quiet street, so no noise from outside. In any case the accommodation is to the rear of the building on the ground floor. Excellent and frequent bus service minutes from the flat to reach the town centre and/or railway station in around 15/20 minutes. Everything you need is there. Friendly owner, who met us at the flat for keys and introduction, also left some coffee, tea, biscuits, jam and even Nutella for first breakfast. Some other basic groceries too! Endless opportunities for shopping nearby. We didn't have a car....

Located at only 50 meters from the beginning of the Unesco historical center and at the 3rd floor of an early 19th-century building, with a cargo-lift suitable only for luggages. The room was very comfortable and always very clean. The location is really great, you can walk to every site you want to visit, but if you don’t want that, there is plenty of transportation close by. The hosts (Sergio and Ada) are really REALLY nice! The best!
