Hotel Jakarta Amsterdam is a unique hotel in Amsterdam at the IJ river, at the former location where ships left for Jakarta. All staff were so helpful, friendly and professional, the vibe of the hotel is very unique, and everything was spotless and modern. The food was beautiful, and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in!

Offering impressive views, Mövenpick Hotel is located on the edge of the River IJ, opposite the Muziekgebouw Bimhuis tram stop. This luxurious hotel boasts a wellness centre and gym. The hotel was a fantastic location and the room was very comfortable with our 10.5 month old. There were a couple of things that could have been improved however.

Downstairs is the kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and enough utensils etc. Friendly little details provided by the hosts give it a very personal feel. the bedroom is a comfy bed for two and the window just above water level as well as the skylight with option cover makes for the true ship feeling. In the summer there is a small balcony with hammock upstairs. And the view of the harbor is very calming for us at least. The bathroom has a nice modern shower, the floor is such that it can be dried easily with the sweeper..All products were provided.
