We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and honestly our stay was absolutely amazing. Seree and her parter made us feel right at home, so welcoming and warm. This little place is Simply perfect! It is more in Mediterranean style than Thai style so you may miss a bit of Thai feeling in there, but you can just reach the nearby restaurants on the beache and you will find that feeling again :) the place is very clean, the owner is super nice and kind and ready to help If any problem. there is an entrance to the sea right in front of the bungalows, just a little bit rocky as the owner was moving away most of the big rocks to facilitate the entry to the sea :) a bit steep way down/up, but owner can help you to carry your luggage if you need. Also there are not so many insects and mosquitos as I was expecting, and no monkeys around to steel your stuff :D a big plus are the chilling dog and the lovely kitties staying around there, if you love animals :) You would never want to leave the place once you get there, so peaceful and relaxing atmosphere! We were planning to stay just 5 nights, but we ended up staying 10 more days! I would give more than 10 if I could :)

I love this place so much. Rustic perfect sandy beach bungalow. So much I booked extra days. Close to by beach and restaurants. Short trip up the road for more resorts bars ect. Bang Bao Beach is pretty remote so it’s not walkable to other areas of the island even the pier. The staff were helpful and friendly.

I liked about it everything and mostly hospitality and kindness of the hosts Ms. Lek and her husband. Their cheerful and welcoming personalities made my stay and the trip unforgettable. In addition, the place has a superb location. It is close to a beach but located in the forest. Sometimes I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of a jungle with all jungle sounds, beautiful plants, and monkeys running around. There is no question that if I go back to Koh Chang I will choose to stay at beachbox again.

The owners were great. I watched him fix many things right away and his wife. She pretty much knew everything. The food there was excellent and I would recommend staying there to anybody who wants a relaxed place right on the water.
