We really wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures don’t even show how nice the place and the rooms are. The staff was extremely kind. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Location is perfect to explore Tunis medina. Breakfast is very abundant and varied. mostly sweet stuff, but we asked for savoury and we were brought some eggs. Not sure if it includes shakshuka - we thought it didn’t because ee didn’t receive it, but then we saw others eating it. In any case, the breakfast is a lot of food, so we suggest asking what it includes so you can choose what you want and enjoy it :)

Very comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated (the scent of orange flower across the hotel was a bliss) in the middle of the Medina. The hotel is located in a rather quiet street within the Medina (not too crowded and full of noisy stores, but still safe even at night), and walking distance from the Medina's liveliest streets. Staff was very attentive (during Ramadan, we would get a fruit basket every day to break the fast). The spa is also very nice.

Ahmed, Basma and her sister were extremely kind, helpful and contributed to make our vacation in Tunisia exceptional. Ahmed in particular gave us a lot of tips to help us discover hidden places in the Medina and we really appreciated having him around. The place is cozy and has a nice familiar vibe. Highly recommended!

Located in the Medina of Tunis, 12 km from Tunis-Carthage international airport, Dar Ben Gacem is a traditional-style accommodation which offers free Wi-Fi access and a terrace overlooking the city. The staff went above and beyond to help us make our stay as comfortable as possible, location was amazing, and breakfast was very generous and delicious! We're definitely coming back the next time we visit Tunis

The decoration is just awesome, even the bathrooms are cool and the beds are comfortable. In addition there is a rooftop where you can take a look at the city Skyline. Additionally the location is very good too, within walkikg distance to main attractions. The host was very helpful.
