Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square. Everything was perfect! We really wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures don’t even show how nice the place and the rooms are. The staff was extremely kind. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Location is perfect to explore Tunis medina. Breakfast is very abundant and varied. mostly sweet stuff, but we asked for savoury and we were brought some eggs. Not sure if it includes shakshuka - we thought it didn’t because ee didn’t receive it, but then we saw others eating it. In any case, the breakfast is a lot of food, so we suggest asking what it includes so you can choose what you want and enjoy it :)

Dar El Jeld Hotel and Spa has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Tunis. This 5-star hotel offers a concierge service and a tour desk. Very comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated (the scent of orange flower across the hotel was a bliss) in the middle of the Medina. The hotel is located in a rather quiet street within the Medina (not too crowded and full of noisy stores, but still safe even at night), and walking distance from the Medina's liveliest streets. Staff was very attentive (during Ramadan, we would get a fruit basket every day to break the fast). The spa is also very nice.

Spectacular architecture, location to Medina, cleanliness, and the food at the restaurant. The traditional live music in the restaurant was amazing.

Located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, Dar Dorra offers a terrace, a bar and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Nice room, quiet and clean. Amazing staff, always ready to help. Breakfast and dinner/drinks on the rooftop were super good.

Boasting a terrace and views of city, El Patio Courtyard House is a guest house set in a historic building in Tunis, 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum. We had an amazing stay at El Patio. Ahmed, Basma and her sister were extremely kind, helpful and contributed to make our vacation in Tunisia exceptional. Ahmed in particular gave us a lot of tips to help us discover hidden places in the Medina and we really appreciated having him around. The place is cozy and has a nice familiar vibe. Highly recommended!

Located in the Medina of Tunis, 12 km from Tunis-Carthage international airport, Dar Ben Gacem is a traditional-style accommodation which offers free Wi-Fi access and a terrace overlooking the city. Huge tasty breakfast each morning. Very friendly staff who provided good recommendations for local places to eat. The room was very spacious and the decor is wonderful selected with support from local artisans. The rooftop was an added bonus despite the poor weather we experienced during our stay. The location was also very convenient within the Medina and had easy (for Tunisia) parking nearby.

Maison typique de la médina features a terrace and is located in Tunis, within just 90 metres of Dar Lasram Museum and 300 metres of Sidi Mahrez Mosque. The house really is amazing. The decoration is just awesome, even the bathrooms are cool and the beds are comfortable. In addition there is a rooftop where you can take a look at the city Skyline. Additionally the location is very good too, within walkikg distance to main attractions. The host was very helpful.
