With a pool and outdoor Jacuzzi, this boutique hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants and shops in Kloof Street. Super nice staff and very nicely decorated hotel. We chose the apartment first but the hotel allowed us to choose again when we arrived as there was an issue with the TV in the apartment and we decided to go for the hotel room instead which was super comfortable.

Main things to highlight: - The owner is just WONDERFUL - she is unbelievably kind and caring. She was helping with EVERYHTING, e.g. she gave me her raincoat when it was raining outside and I didn't have anything to wear. Thanks so much!! - The location in Cape Town is great - its super central, you are just nearby the Kloof St (supermarkets, great restaurants; really everything you need) but at the same time its very quiet and safe! - The place is completely new, clean and just beautiful

Clean rooms very hospitable friendly and knowledgeable staff Specially julia, she took really good care of us during our stay and make sure we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The pool area is gorgeous with mountain view and sun beds. Great location of the hotel, walking distance from long street. The hotel is very well maintained , clean and great interior/exterior. Definitely coming back for this amazing service.

Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain, in trendy Tamboerskloof, our boutique hotel Cloud 9 Boutique Hotel and Spa is located within walking distance of the variety of trendy shops and restaurants on... We had a wonderful stay at the Cloud 9 hotel. The staff is outstanding - very friendly and helpful and we felt immediately comfortable and welcomed. We had a beautiful spacious room with a side view of Lion's Head. The hotel has various outdoor spaces including two pools, a hot tub and a sauna. There is guest parking which has to be reserved and paid for extra, but it's a secured space with cameras so it was definitely worth the money. Cloud 9 is just around the corner of Kloof Street with a lot of restaurant and bar choices and we felt safe to walk the short way there. For load shedding the hotel has back-up power, the only things not working are hair dryers and ACs, but it is easy to plan around the load shedding times since they are prominently announced at the reception. I'd always come back and stay here again and can only recommend booking a room here.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hippo Boutique Hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was big and clean. The location could not have been better: there were plenty of restaurants nearby and it was safe to walk back home in the evening.
