The garden is stunning, and the rooms are not only clean but also pleasant. The highlight, though, is the jacuzzi in the pineapple plantation – it's truly out of the blue. Whether in the soft evening light or the natural morning sunshine, it's a delightful experience. If I lived in Portugal, I would come here every weekend without hesitation. The overall charm and warmth of this place make it a perfect retreat.

Our casita was very cute. Bed was comfortable with great morning views. Bathroom has great water pressure and gets pretty hot (so important for me). The kitchen has the essentials. Daily breakfast usually includes eggs and we would fry them every morning. When we had an early morning excursion they brought our breakfast and left it in our fridge the night before. I loved this little spot. It’s about 20 min driving to ponte Delgada and the airport. Staff was amazing.

Convento de São Francisco er bygget i et fransiskanerkloster fra det 17. århundrede. The fact that it was an old convent added charm to the property. The was it has been re-organized with a pool and amenities is amazing… The staff were always smiling and offered great advice and support.

Amazing location, the hotel is very well located, the staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The swimming pool is great (and the bar is a bonus), the whole lot feels very homely and classy. The breakfast is INCREDIBLE. The buildings are sparkling clean, smell good and are decorated with taste. Do not hesitate, it's a great place to wander about the island.

The place is designed with so much good taste, with lots of details to make your stay easy, the calm, really clean, no noises at all so it is the perfect place is you want to relax. They also have a swimming pool, an amazing garden with fruit trees… we will go back for sure!
