I loved everything about this place! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to get you whatever you need or want. What a great welcome with hot tea. (tea and Nescafe are always available) Great location - walking distance to the metro and downtown, and affordable places around to eat (not like pricey El Poblado!) The place is remodeled, so the bathrooms are beautiful with hot water in the showers. The balcony on each floor is a great place to chill. The kitchen is very comfortable to use. Easy to meet other guests (lots of backpackers here). I extended my stay because I couldn't bear to leave! Thank you!

The best hostel in Medellin! Safe area, nice neighborhood and great staff. Kitchen and social area are compact but this doesnt' matter when you have such a nice environment and good people to meet. Bedrooms are really good, everything extremelly clean (no kidding). Ricardo is always thinking about improving the areas so it is definitly worth going. I stayed 10 days and I would stay much longer! I miss you guys already! Gracias por todo Ricardo!!!

Excellent location walking from the stadium metro stop and around the Laurales neighborhood. There are several great restaurants nearby and a fantastic bookshop/café one block away. The kitchen is well equipped and the refrigerator is organized so every room has a designated drawer or shelf. The owner was very helpful with all my questions and even received a package for me while I was away on a day trip. I was worried that it would be noisy but the other people there were very respectful and quiet so noise was never a problem.
