A warm clean place with cooking facilites.. Meeting people that you wouldn't have met if you were staying in a hotel. Nice relaxing lounge.

The staff were very welcoming. Particularly Jenna and Kieran. The breakfast was excellent, I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The choice was fantastic. Great coffee and fresh orange juice. I didn't have dinner as I was visiting family but I looked at the menu and it looked great! The room was clean and had everything I needed for a 1 night stay. I will definitely stay again on my next visit.

The Alexandra Guesthouse is a tidy, well-tended operation in an interesting, lively neighborhood, apart from, but close to, the historic center of town. Your hostess is knowledgeable and a great lover of Chester.

Room was very comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with nice selections. Location to Chester CBD was very convenient. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing experience

The room was nice, warm and big enough, the breakfast was super good and the staff is VERY friendly and welcoming. In my case I was lucky enough to talk a lot and know wonderful things about Chester and that talking changed my travel plans, and I was super happy about it, because Chester deserved all the time I spent there that I hadn't planned.

Clean spacious room. Very helpful staff. Both evening meal and breakfast were perfect. Great bus into town at door.
