The place is so clean, equipped with everything that you need, the room was comfortable and of course, the garden and view on Pico is unbeatable! We really enjoyed it here and highly recommend it... A wonderful place to stay right in the middle of downtown Horta that I can’t recommend enough. Our room had a beautiful view of Mt. Pico and we probably had the best sleep of the trip here. Elena is amazingly helpful and was accommodating to our late arrival due to flight issues and gave us a long list of recommendations in the city. She also scheduled our taxis to and from the airport which made logistics considerably easier. If we ever make it back this is where we will stay.

Very clean and spacious accomodation. Big kitchen with complimentary coffee. Beautifull location at the sea with beach and restaurants on walking distance.

The property is a house overlooking the beach, the rooms themselves don't have the oceanview per se but have access to a terrace that does. It was clean and the lady who runs it, Alice, is very nice. Location is also very close to the center of town and nice restaurants and right behind a hiking trail along with the whaling/whale oil museum.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!

Very good studio with all necessary stuff for daily needs. Good location, comfortable beds. Supermarket and beach are in walking distance. I used apartment partly for remote working, partly for holidays. Both went well!😀

Very furnished common areas, everything clean and nicely decorated. The staff was very kind to let us leave the luggages untill evening, and then to allow us to stay in the same room after our ship was canceled.
