Located in Ay, it is a great base for discovering Champagne houses in the region. We were there off-season, so the town was pretty quiet. The breakfast was excellent, and the large communal table for all the guests enabled us to get to know the other Champagne enthusiast travelers who were also staying there. We stayed here for one night, but we wish we could have stayed longer. We also enjoyed the tasting of a selection of the Collery Champagnes in the next door tasting room, tempting us to buy a few bottles to take back. Highly recommended. We will certainly be back.

The location is quiet and in a small town in a lovely part of France. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Details such as outlets next to the bed on both sides have been well thought out. Great advice about dinner and local attractions were complimented by a sumptuous breakfast. The creme-de-la-creme was that Patricia, a trained and excellent masseuse, had time for a massage as well.

Wonderful hosts, and the property was amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, with fresh breads, Yorkshire tea (!) and homemade jams. The surrounding area is beautiful with enough to see and do.
