It was delicious, and there was so much of it. We learned the story of perte de pain "Lost Bread" which we call French toast in the US. We had a champagne tasting the evening of our stay which was informative and delightful. Our hostess shared the story of their family champagnes which was such a treat.

The room was spotlessly clean and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. There was everything we could possibly have needed in our rooms. They had thought of everything! The evening meal was delicious, and we loved the fact that we ate together with the other guests. We had a comfortable night, and the breakfast in the morning with baguette, croissants, homemade jams and even homemade yogurt was superb.

Catherine, our hostess, was extremely helpful and informative. The bed was the most comfortable we had in Europe. The room was very spacious and the decorations in the entire property were eclectic and stylish. I would return to the Chateau!
