We booked three rooms and each one was nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. There were coffee stations in the rooms with the nice touch of a chocolate placed on top of each coffee cup. The bathroom was well lit so it wasn’t a problem putting on make up. The bed was very comfortable and most importantly the bedroom and en-suite were spotlessly clean. Finally the team at Wall Hill Farm were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Thank you so much for looking after us

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities with a mini fridge and storage space for clothes. There was a huge bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of towel hooks, plus shampoo and shower gel. The shower had great water pressure and the temperature was easy to control. It was exactly what I was looking for in a picturesque place with canals, pubs and cafes nearby. There are lovely areas to walk around, including the dam and surrounding forest, and the canals. I arrived by bus and left by taxi, and I found it simple enough to move around without using a car.

Set in Knutsford, 3.4 km from Tatton Park, Laburnum Cottage Guest House features a garden. This 4-star bed and breakfast features free WiFi and a shared lounge. Guests can enjoy garden views. Karen and Karl, the hosts, were the best part of it. Lovely people, interesting to talk with, so kind and helpful.

The hotel's excellent location made it the perfect base for exploring Chester's attractions.
