What a gem of a hotel! Small, but with a pub and restaurant with super food. Friendly, helpful staff, very comfortable and clean rooms, a full English breakfast and a delicious (and large!!) evening meal! We were so sad we were only there for one night!

Offering a bar and quiet street view, The Old Fourpenny Hotel is set in Warwick, 700 metres from Warwick Castle and 10 km from Walton Hall. Proximity to walk to Warwick Castle was great. Quiet & comfortable. Nice fluffy large towels and comfy beds/bedding. Modern bathroom. Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast included. The room had everything we needed. Wish we had arrived a little earlier to enjoy a drink down in the bar. 

Set in a Grade II listed building, this hotel combines historic charm with modern convenience, still retains its original features, open fires and wonderful antiques. We enjoyed a spacious, clean and comfortable room. We had a good evening meal and a delicious breakfast as well.

Liked everything about it, it felt like home. Richard & Sue are amazing hosts & we enjoyed our chats with them at breakfast time. Good choices for breakfast from toast to a full English breakfast. 10 min walk from station, 10mins to center of town. Definitely would stay there again & highly recommend to other travellers.

The host was very courteous and extremely helpful. Breakfast was well laid out and sumptuous. It is very well located close to the town center. Highly recommend!

We loved living in their Blue Room. Tasteful artwork enhanced the many amenities, even the wonderful bathroom. Great view of the countryside and quiet surroundings made for relaxed comfort. The breakfasts were the unexpected highlights of our stay.

Our first time and not the last visit to Stratford and would highly recommend The Carlton. Lovely hosts, fabulous breakfast, huge light and airy room with superb facilities.
