Stepping Through the door you get hit with a welcoming and extremely wholesome feeling. I got welcomed by Mayuko, the Incredibly kind owner, who you easily can have a fun and great conversation with. She taught me a little about the classic japanese dance and how to play shamisen, for both she has mastered (once you see the trophies you know). I got fed some incredibly delicious meals, and enough to feel completely stuffed. I was Incredibly lucky to be here with two other guests, who I shared some great laughs with. As a guesthouse comes , this is it in its finest sense. A great place where a feeling of openness and being welcomed, seeps through the air, and as you get to know the owner and other guests you get to share a wonderful time together. As I had to leave I found out the bus that I was planning on taking didn't run, Mayuko ended up driving me. I caught my bus in the nick of time, with her being the hero of the day. Thank you for everything!

Warm and sweet hosts, we felt so welcomed and enjoyed chatting with them. The first floor tatami room was very comfy and cozy. We enjoyed the happy hour as well, and the delicious breakfast was thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend staying here!

Tanehachi Farm Guesthouse - Vacation STAY 29709v erbjuder boende i Aomori, 21 km från Aomori station och 24 km från Aomori Camp Garrison and Defense Hall. I like the guesthouse is surrounded by the nature, the closest train station is Asamushi station, it’s about 5-6 stops away from Aomori station. The guesthouse owner Taku can offer pick-up/drop-off at Asamushi station. BTW, Asamushi is famous for onsen(hot spring). Since the house is in the middle of nature so there’s no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, but you can purchase dinner and breakfast, Taku’s wife, Kaori, makes very delicious and healthy food, must try it!

Misato Memorial Hall - Vacation STAY 61405v ligger i Hirakawa, 42 km från Towadasjön och 50 km från Tsuta onsen, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. This was the best place we stayed in our entire trip to Japan! Tama is a wonderful host and will advise on what to do around Hiraka and Hirosaki, the place is clean and cozy and the cats are adorable (especially Fox!). Also, the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend Misato Memorial Hall if you're travelling and want to know more about Japan and the Japanese culture. Thank you Tama for the excellent stay!

Staff very friendly. For women I would definitely suggest staying at the women's section. It was very cozy and clean. Also had a nice table for getting ready with face cleansing products etc. Also 4 toilets for women, so no need to wait for others. Also near the Hirosaki Park, on a walking distance.

Towadako Backpackers ligger bara 3 minuters promenad från pittoreska Lake Towada och erbjuder trevligt boende med gratis Wi-Fi i alla utrymmen. Här finns ett fullt utrustat kök och ett karaokerum. The backpacker is within 10 minutes walking from Towada lake, room space is okay, bed is comfortable, common room space is big, shared restrooms/showers are plenty so no need to wait. If you want to have hot spring, there’s one just 3 minutes walking nearby, can purchase the ticket at backpacker, it’s only 350 yen, very nice hot spring hotel.

Guest house goose - Vacation STAY 21037v ligger i Hirosaki, 2,5 km från Hirosaki slott och 37 km från Shin-Aomori station, och erbjuder gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. A minimalist, super clean accomodation. Exceptional for this price.
