The food, the decor, the town, the whole area was extremely pleasant and I also arrived during the spring festival which made the experience that much better. The host was extremely helpful and polite and made my time in the city great, they even offered to drive me and my friend to the train station, saving us time and back pain from all our luggage. Only a low table and futon to roll out on the floor of the guest room. This is not a flaw, as it is designed to be in the traditional Minshuku style. Just something to be aware of. A few minutes walk from the beach. Sleepy little town. A nice break from the crowds of Kyoto.
