O J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse está situado em Hongu, a 10 minutos de carro ou a 70 minutos a pé da Rota de Peregrinação Kumano Kodo do Santuário de Kumano Hongu Taisha. Muito perto do ponto de ônibus e do onsen mais famoso do local (Tsuboyu). A cama era bastante confortável e o futon muito quentinho. O pessoal foi bastante simpático. Eles têm vários snacks e bebidas à venda por um preço bom. O café da manhã é supersimples, mas virtualmente de graça (eles pedem apenas uma colaboração). O ambiente comum com tatames é muito agradável e o onsen pareceu ótimo (mas acabei não usando, porque fui no Tsuboyu).

民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO situa-se em Tanabe, a 2 minutos a pé de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art e a 29 km de Sala de Espetáculos Kamitonda. Ike-san was such a friendly and caring host who made sure that I was taken care of from our first moment of contact to check out. The room was extremely comfortable and provided all the necessary amenities for lodgers or even hikers travelling on bare essentials (there's a hairdryer thank goodness!!), the bathroom was clean and made for a wonderful soak at the end of a hard hike, and Ike-san went out of his way to ensure my comfort and convenience - from giving me a lift to the nearby eatery when I ran out of dinner options to generously gifting me a poncho before I set off for my hike in the rain. I'd also like to mention that his place is literally next to the Chikatsuyu-oji marker on the Kumano Kodo trail for those who are making this a rest stop on their hike. Thank you for the hospitality!!

AJITO Hostel & CafeBar encontra-se em Shingu, a 6 minutos a pé de Shingu Castle Ruins Park, e apresenta acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito e um bar. Very clean and fairly new/well maintained accomodation. I have been to several shared bath accomodations and some have the weirdest setup that don't make sense. This place just does it. Bed is comfy and pillow has just the right height. There's proper hangers in the shower room, bins at the right spots, everything just makes sense so you'll be feeling like staying in a home instead of a hostel. Friendly and very helpful staffs to ease you through your stay and travel around the area.

The owner has a good energy and very respectful I guess to all kind of guest either you like to stay quiet or being friendly. I could see his good care for the comfort in every corner. I enjoyed his expression and I respect his transparency. Cool owner. Thank you for all kindness and openness.

Lovely little guesthouse with three rooms. Very cosy shared living area. You sleep on tatamis (comfortable!) and bathroom facilities are shared. We arrived by car and there was parking. Our host gave us some excellent recommendations around town. It’s in a residential neighbourhood about a 10 minute walk down to the beach and the tourist area, which is really nice (as the centre of town feels a bit touristy)

くまの蔵inn Warehouse situa-se em Shingu, a 13 minutos a pé de Kamikura Shrine, e dispõe de acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, estacionamento privado gratuito e um jardim. Host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He searched and found information for us and even offered to help us make reservations for activities. We stayed here during the winter, but the place was warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed plus free condiments. We would love to stay here again!

Em Monte Koya, a cerca de 37 km de Tama Museum, Guest House Suzumeno Kakurembo apresenta um restaurante, quartos não fumador e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. 3mins walk to bus stop #19 Atago Mae. Well maintained, super clean. The owner is very helpful to give me guidance to attend morning service in the nearby temple.

Guest House hachi hachi situa-se em Monte Koya, a cerca de 37 km de Kishi Station e 43 km de Matsushita Park. Our host was very welcoming and friendly. They let us leave our bags there during the day before check in. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great facilities and a delicious breakfast in the morning.
