Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. Everything was amazing. It was super clean, organized, and excellent food. Loved all about the room, the bathroom was so nice compared to many in Sri Lanka, it was clean and spacious and the Wi-Fi works perfectly. The swimming pool is also very clean and pretty. The owners are a lovely family, and they really take care and arrange everything for you. It is one of the best places I have stayed in Sri Lanka.

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. Best place. Host is so kind thar he will take great care of each and everything. Room was so nice and clean with chilled AC and fan. Host picked me up from bus stop which is extremely helpful because it was raining and there were no tuk tuk there. I had to go to Ella later, host provided best guidance how to get direct bus. Host took me on his car to bus stop. Bus stop was quite far. Host ensures I boarded bus safely and then he left. Best host I had ever.

Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Set in Tangalle, 400 metres from Tangalle Beach, Heaven in Satinwoods offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Thank you Chami and Dalu for another wonderful time (3rd time) at your place! We will for sure come back again a fourth time!! It is not possible to describe how special this place is and we highly recommend everyone to come here and experience it yourself. Heaven in Satinwoods is our favorite place in Sri Lanka and also the food here is just the best that you can get. So if you come to this place, you should definitely try the rice and curry. From the first second we arrived at this place, we felt like staying in paradise. We were welcomed with a fresh juice, some wet towels to refresh our faces and a flower necklace. The rooms are very spacious, there is an A/C in every apartment and it is very clean. Also you have drinking water in the room, so you don’t need to buy water. You can just bring empty water bottles and reuse them, which is really great. Also this place has a wonderful garden with many beautiful trees, plants and flowers and you can watch many different animals like giant squirrels and really beautiful birds! Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Very nice staff, great caring service and comfortable rooms, delicious food. Lovely balcony and view.

Located in Tangalle, 200 metres from Goyambokka Beach, Goyambokka Guesthouse provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. It is a nice smaller resort near 2 beautiful beaches. They provide a nice breakfast and a dinner and lunch menu that was very reasonably priced and the food delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Priyanka was a wonderful host. After arriving from a hot afternoon safari I was greeted with a cold towel and a fresh coconut. The room is large, clean and has a/c. The dinner and breakfast prepared by his wife was delicious. It was great value. Overall a fantastic one night stay. I highly recommended this guest house.

Featuring a garden, Green Lake offers rooms in Tissamaharama, 2.2 km from Tissa Wewa. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. The room is clean, the shower is hot and you are offered free tea/coffee at any time. There is a cozy lounge area in front of the rooms. The property is run by the owner of Yala Kings Safari, so he can organize a Yala tour for you. These guys are great at what they do and I highly recommend going on safari with them.

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Incredible place - cozy, exotic, calm with tropical off grid atmosphere. I've never stayed at a cabin with 9.6 rate on booking.com but when we arrived, I understood why it had such a great score. The cabine is right next to a beautiful lake. We had our own crocodile!!!! relaxing under our balcony. No worries, it's safe. They don't go ashore because of the fence so it's just a very nice Croc-view :) . The cabin itself was exotic to the max but quite comfortable. The toilet and shower were very clean, a small ventilator made the air inside a bit less hot so our northern bodies could go to sleeping mode, the bad was wide and there was a mosquito net, even though there was not many mosquitos inside. Special thanks to the host family! Incredibly social, nice and kind people. Very tasty, super original food on a small cozy terrace with local dishes, free water in bottles. If we come back to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay there again! Unforgettable experience!
