Everything as it seen in the photos, a newly built accommodation. The best was the family couple who runs the place. Very kind and helpful (have been 7 places during SL tour, everywhere was good the service but here was extraordinary).

The owner was a gentleman, very polite and helpful. Not only before arrive but after that he asked us about reaching destination without problems. It was about 10 minutes walk from the property to the lake. (The path was steep) It was a beautiful terrace that we used for drinking coffee and enjoying afternoon. we stayed 2 nights and he prepared 2 completely different and delicious breakfast (local and international) for us in each day. Pickme app was available for food and transportation.

10.2 km from Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Mahaweli View Inn is set in Kandy and provides air-conditioned rooms. We stayed in Mahaweli View Inn for a week and had such a good time! The room is spacious, clean, well equipped and the views from the balcony are insane. Breakfast and Dinner was always so delicious! The owners are a really sweet older couple who bend over backwards to make our stay comfortable, we felt like family. Wifi was great, there is a little shop in walking distance and Kandy is a 15-minute drive away. We are really sad to leave and would have loved to stayed even longer.
