Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya is located in Sigiriya and features a private pool and lake views. Featuring babysitting service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Bovi was caring & extremely friendly. She took care of all our needs & did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was generous & tasty. The cottage is located within 5mins drive from the Sigiriya Lion Rock site & close to many restaurants & other travel amenities (such as ATM & laundry).

Offering a garden and garden view, Simoya Nature Park is set in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock and 22 km from Pidurangala Rock. We stayed 3 nights at Simoya. Madhu and Sanjee were very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. The room was to a high standard and had everything you needed, including a fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was huge but very tasty and we also ate dinner there for all 3 of the nights we stayed. In all honesty, Im not sure where else we could have eaten in the local area which was at the same quality as Madhu and Sanjee's cooking. We went to the top of Pidurangala rock for an extra fee at sunrise which was well worth the money. We also paid Sanjee for a transfer to Kandy which was at a reasonable rate. Both Sanjee and Madhu were perfect hosts and really lovely people. The one thing I would say that I have found throughout Sri Lanka is to check costs before agreeing to things but that advice goes throughout and everything additional we paid for we felt was worth the money.

The staff is unbelievable friendly and constantly trys to fulfill all wishes of their costumers. The hostel offers nice activities, really delicious food (try their banana milkshake!) and very cozy bungalows-- especially for couples highly recommended!

The owner arranged all the transportation we needed. In addition, He also prepared an excellent lunch and breakfast for us, served us water, natural juice, fresh fruit, in short, everything. The Owner was like a good friend to us. Great experience, highly recommended!

Wild elephants, monkeys, peacocks, cows, herons, frogs, crickets, lightning bugs and tens and hundreds of wide range of other wild animals around, just few meters from us. And the famous Sigiriya Lion Rock. TOP experience for all nature lovers! ❤️

Anjula and his wife Medu was so kind and caring always wanted that I will have a goodtime and that I have everything I need. The room was amazing , very clean with A/C and hot water , the view from the rooftop restaurant was incredible amazing view of the lion rock!
