The hotel was randomly chosen from booking.com list based on price offered. The staff Michael (or maybe he's the owner?) is attentive. I reached the place during the rain & he went out with an umbrella making sure I'm not soaking wet. The rooms were clean & cozy. Hotel used floor panels for the room, easy to clean & zero dust. The pantry is free to access & use, with nice view. We loved the room decoration, all the british street names & incorporation of green indoor plants everywhere, which is refreshing after a long drive.. Everything was pleasant.

Just across street from a big supermarket, and just in front of the house there is a coconut seller and a fried banana stall, which we visited daily.. Check in was a breeze, and owner allowed us later check out before our train back to KL.

It is such a quaint, comfortable, cosy, nice place… its located very central and i loved my stay as it felt like an actual home ☺️ been on the road for few years, so it feels good!! The energy is very peaceful and the owner is superfriendly and helpful as well. I will definitely return if im in Taiping again 🥰

My little son loved the aframe cottage, the dipping pool and the well mentained garden. There is also a fridge and very clean outdoor facilities to make tea and coffee in morning. The property is very near to the hornbills and in walking distance to coral beach but it is still very quiet. The owners were fantastic and very kind. They answered all my emails very fast, changed our ferry tickets and took us with their lovely family to the ferryport. It was one of the best stops on the whole journey!
