Culzean'daki Whitestone Cottage, Robert Burns'ün annesi Agnes Broun'un 1732 yılında doğduğu yerdir. My son and I were doing a tour of western Scotland and came across this place as it is very close to Culzean Castle (fantastic). Space was small but had everything we were looking for and more. The proprietor, George, was very friendly and seemed proud of his property. We got there a little late and were hungry so he made reservations for us at a great restaurant (possibly best food we had in Scotland). Would definitely recommend Whitestone for those looking for a base of operation.

Set in Troon, in a historic building, 18 km from Ayr Racecourse, No 2 Ramageton is a holiday home with a garden and barbecue facilities. This cottage is a perfect getaway, it was so peaceful in such beautiful surroundings. The cottage has been well planned out, very tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need (and more!). We loved it so much we have booked up again for next year.

Host was incredible: Fantastic clear communication, a personal meet at the property, and even small things like a small bottle of milk and coffee/tea products left for us upon our arrival. Great location with everything you need within a 5 minute drive. Beautiful scenery in surrounding area also. Gorgeous harbour very near with beautiful views. Bedroom is a great size with the comfiest bed I've ever slept on! All in all, a phenomenal place which allowed for an unforgettable stay out of the city. I cannot wait to book again. Thank you 🙏
